I have been checking out the breakfast nooks in the area, as I now have some extra time on my hands. Went here Sunday morning, paper in hand, to try the fare and read the news. I had the supreme omelet, I believe, and a side of hash browns. The other person had the breakfast burrito, that had sausage and potato in it, as well as cheese and other stuff. I asked for bacon in the omelet, as well as an additional egg. The atmosphere was casual, seemed like everyone was a regular and knew each other, very convivial. The prices are great, coffee is only .99. I will be coming back here at least once a month, though I can’t give ‘em a five star because the hash browns were smashed almost paper thin… lol, I don’t know why. I liked this place and heartily recommend it to one and all. My friend said it was the best breakfast burrito they had ever had.

Kristin and Raylyn were a treat — quirky, fun, detail oriented. Food was delicious. I had the campfire scrambler with spicy gravy. Boyfriend had the 4th Street Skillet. Definitely coming back and bringing others. This place is a must experience… Multiple times kind of a place.

Growing up in Mishawaka, I have been able to see this place be many different restaurants. I hope Kristin’s sticks around. My dad and I have gone to breakfast together on Saturdays since I was six, and we don’t stop the tradition when we are lucky enough to spend a Saturday morning together on visits home. I’m happy he took me to Kristin’s for this outing. I’m sure it won’t be our last Saturday morning meal spent in this little place. I don’t completely remember what I got, but I know it had the house spicy sausage gravy on it. I would come back just for this. It was SO good. Look out South Carolina because you can’t compete with this Indiana stuff! I’m drooling just thinking about it. There isn’t a lot of seating space, but it gives it that local, homey feel where everyone knows your name.

Small diner with a very comfortable atmosphere. The owner came over to greet us and chatted with us a bit, and all of the servers were really friendly and happy. It’s perhaps on the greasier side, which isn’t my favorite, but I enjoyed my meal. Partner got the biscuits and gravy and said it was EXCELLENT. They have regular gravy and spicy gravy and you can get half and half.

The Breakfast is Great! The Spicy Gravy on hash browns or biscuits is yummy :) I come here about 2−3x a week. They just need more seats and the waitresses are a bit on the Sassy side.

The food was fantastic! I would have easily given this 4⁄5 stars, but the place was on the not so clean side.

Been coming here since I moved to Mishawka in August. I’ve tried other breakfast places but keep coming back to this one. The environment is fun and friendly, the food is delicious, and Kristin always takes time to talk to everyone that walks in the door. I’ve tried many different things on the menu and never been disappointed.

Here is another hidden gem in the Mishawaka area! I was recently introduced to this place as an alternative to my usual breakfast joints and Kristin’s is awesome! The 4th Street Skillet is absolutely amazing and pancakes are light and fluffy. Expect to wait a bit on a weekend morning, it’s totally worth it though!
