I went to bed dreaming of Panda’s Teriyaki Chicken and Brown Rice. Finally at 11AM, I decided that I would take an early lunch. When I ordered the brown rice, I was told that it was not done yet. Had it been 10:30AM, right when they opened I would of been understanding. However it is after 11AM at this point, the restaurant has been open for at least 30 minutes and the Brown Rice is not done? That’s unacceptable! I ordered Fried Rice instead(which thankfully was done). I ordered and paid for my food at 11:08AM according to the time stamp on my receipt. I waited in the drive thru line until 11:15AM and then I was instructed that my Teriyaki Chicken still had another 2 – 3 minutes to cook and I was told to pull around to the front and they would bring my food to me. Again I was disappointed that something else was not done. I finally received my food at 11:20AM! It’s a good thing I work close by because I have already used up half of my lunch hour(including commute, which by the way is not the quickest because it just snowed and everyone is driving slower). I’m incredible disappointed in my experience.

No service … Need to shut this one down!!! 20 min in drive thru .no fountain drinks .no Apple juice. They just don’t care about customer service.

Pros: We have used their drive-thru on several occasions and they have NEVER messed up our order, it’s been %100 correct every time. This might not seem like a big deal, however, we are usually ordering for a group of 5 or more with a vegetarian in the mix. Large orders/dietary restrictions often confound other drive-thru employees *coughtacobellcough* so accuracy is refreshing. Also food quality is consistently great and the side veggies are always fresh, never soggy. Cons: Wait time is always 20 minutes or more. The price. I could easily get more for my money at a traditional Chinese take-out joint, however it can be hard to access accurate nutritional information of local ethnic cuisine… so I’ll pay extra. The spring rolls and crab rangoons are typically over fried. Also their drive-thru menu is a limited version of what’s available inside which is unfortunate.

To be honest this panda express shouldn’t even receive one star. Worst customer service I have ever received. Lady in the front was terrible I had to basically do her job by offering myself something to drink.

Literally the worst drive thru I have ever seen. Even at 9 o’clock at night with 0 wait inside the drive thru still took 20+ minutes. Absolutely the worst service ever.

There’s a reason Pandas are near extinction. Actually…naming this place after a slow moving Panda makes sense… they’re always slow. I’ll second what everyone else said. I can’t believe a place like this can even have a drive through. I’m not sure of their business model here… you’re better off going to a different restaurant and getting some of your time back.

Was great when they opened but their current staff are terrible. The last 4 times, we have waited 20+ minutes when they weren’t even busy. Today we waited in line 20 minutes then when it was our turn to order they were out of chow mein, orange chicken, and terriyaki chicken(the only 3 things we order). They said it would be 7 minutes for chow mein and orange chicken(it’s always twice as long as they say). They said they had no terriyaki chicken. We left with no food. I’m done going to this location.

I write this review as I sit in line now over 20 minutes. If you’ve been to one Panda Express you’ve been to every one of them

They say they open at 10:30am, yet I’ve been waiting for 20 min. The food isn’t ready yet? Some of us have schedules to keep. My food was over cooked. I rarely come here and now I remember why.

The takeaway: decent food, HORRIBLE«service»! I have eaten here about 10 times in the last 3 months or so, and the line at the counter moves SOSLOWLY! This place is set-up like a Subway– you move along the counter and tell the employees what you want. They dish it up from the steam table, you pay and either sit down and eat or take it to-go. Today, I walked in and there were about 10 people in front of me. As I stood waiting, I noticed the trash bin near the restrooms was LITERALLYOVERFLOWINGWITHTRASH. As I got closer to the food I noticed they were out of fried rice(which is always my choice to accompany my entrees). I stood in line 10 minutes before I even got to order! When it was my turn to order there was still no fried rice and I heard an employee tell another customer«it will be ready in 3 or 4 minutes». I ordered fried rice and Kung Pao Chicken– which was basically just the guy writing on an empty Styrofoam container«fried rice and Kung Pao Chicken». The employees continued to fill more food orders as I and two other customers stood waiting for the fried rice. AFTER9MOREMINUTES the fried rice was finally ready and they actually put some food in my Styrofoam container and I stepped towards the register. The girl running the register overcharged me by about $ 5.00– I asked for a manager who proceeded to charge me an ADDITIONAL $ 7.28AS A REMEDY!!! After I pointed out to the MANAGER that she had just made another mistake she then proceeded to «fix» the problem by running my credit card through the machine 2 more times and printing out 2MORE receipts for a total of 4TRANSACTIONS on my credit card for one meal!!!(I took photos, for you in the audience who can’t believe such incompetence!) After I got home I looked over the four receipts and I THINK the manager finally got it right, but I’m not 100% sure. Also, I almost forgot to add, they were out of Pepsi. The machine wasn’t broken or anything, they were just out, no one bothered to order more. Total mount of time spent to get ONE order of Kung Pao Chicken and fried rice at Panda«Express»…ALMOST25MINUTES!!! As I said at the top, the food here is decent, but, I have had slow, horrible, even rude service from the employees here about 50% of the time I have visited this place in the last few months. I now stop and think twice before going into Panda«Express». *************UPDATE, 5-25-2015 ******************** I cc’ed the above to Panda«Express» on their customer contact web page and I have never heard anything back. Apparently Panda«Express» doesn’t care about customer service!

If you have a half hour to kill in a drive thru, this is the place to go! Every. Single. Time. When will I learn? Sincerely, the frustrated mom in the drive thru.

Your better off going to the food court Panda Express at UP mall. This one doesn’t understand what quick service means. Don’t come when the doors open for lunch otherwise you’ll often find them delaying the opening by 30 or more minutes. Very poorly managed.

It’s always been my experience that the free standing Pandas are better than the food court counterparts and that especially holds true with this new location. Lots of comfortable seating and a great selection. You won’t leave hungry either! We love the sweet fire chicken and the black pepper chicken is my personal favorite. Food is cooked fresh and all of the veggies are cut daily so the quality of ingredients is superb. Come in and try it, you won’t be disappointed!
