Crazy Hair Company

This is so much fun! All ages. My entire family got their hair done at the Sea Stroll Dana Point Harbor event. This company is so much fun! They were creative! They very kind and FUN!!!
The owner was very sweet and accomodating. I’ve always seen face painting at parties and events, but this is just different and unique!!!
It’s not just for girls! My husband had a blast getting his hair done! They even did a unique design on his bald spot. My 1yr old got a orange Mohawk to match his outfit! My mom got a cute hair punk style! I got a cute pink style!
Love them! They are worth it!!!

My last Unilocal review was over 2.5 years ago. Sadly, sometimes work just gets in the way of fun.
BUT. Today’s my daughter’s birthday and being the girly girl she is, she wanted her and a couple of friends to get makeovers and do tea.
Not being a girly girl myself, I googled «Makeovers in Orange County» and came across this company. I didn’t know anything about it, but I knew that anything anyone did would be a heckuva lot better than what I’d do to these girls’ hair and faces.
I contacted Joy via her website. Looked like the website had a lot of really fun options for «crazy hair» but I knew my daughter would prefer a princess up-​do.
Joy, Cathy, and Susan really delivered. I went in not knowing a thing about this company and they went above and beyond my expectations. There are a lot of great things, so to make this easy, a list!
1. She was so accommodating. I told her I was going to Mission Viejo to take the girls to tea at Coffee, Tea, and Tulips (
) and turns out her friend owns a salon (Mitchell Anthony Salon) in that plaza and she met us there.
2. She used to do children’s hair for 35 years. They know what little kids love. All three girls had huge smiles on their faces. Even the one who isn’t quite as girly as mine. I overheard the least girly girl say that she wished she could keep her hair that way all the time.
3. They are great with kids. My kid’s a Chatty Cathy and she totally humored her. One of the other girls is really quiet and she never pushed her to talk or made her feel uncomfortable. Joy really knew how to deal with the different personalities.
4. VERY reasonably priced. I’m not sure if I should put pricing up here, so if you’re interested, message me. :)
5. She brought a bunch of plastic tiaras and other hair accessories as well as rhinestones for the girls’ faces. No extra cost. Just because she knows kids love that stuff. Also. GLITTER. OMG. THE GLITTER.
6. Best for last. They love their hair and makeup so much that now that I’m home, they’re playing princess games and I am sitting here NOT playing anything and writing this review.
