Lisa is a fantastic therapist! We spent many sessions working through my depression and hopelessness. Her EMDR technique is extremely helpful and she was always good at making me do it especially when I didn’t want to. We worked through various mindfulness, meditation, and self care practices that I now use on a daily basis. She’s warm, caring, empathic, and ultimately cares about her clients!

If you are suffering emotional pain, you can put your trust in Lisa to help you navigate your emotional landscape. I have had difficulty in dating and relationships. Lisa helped me evaluate my current relationship, positively supporting me when I was chose to stay. I brought in my partner to meet Lisa too. Lisa helped clarify and communicate, in a non-threatening manner, my concerns about continuing the relationship and the relationship’s future direction. Lisa was my emotional advocate and while I didn’t do a great job preparing my partner for the session, Lisa made it clear that she was not only communicating my concerns, but also expressing how much I loved and adored my partner. My partner was also validated in the session and I know this helped too. Lisa is a professional who re-reads her notes to help you make connections to things mentioned in previous sessions. She is a great listener! Lisa used EMDR(in individual sessions) to help guide me through my emotions and find the threads that connected my sadness and fears to my past. While I don’t understand why it works, I can say unequivocally, it works! While you don’t normally feel perfect right away, I always felt measurable relief after talking with Lisa. Ultimately I decided to end the relationship, but I still see Lisa to help me understand and learn from the relationship and move on. I was very sad when I ended the relationship. I continued to see Lisa and recently our sessions led to a breakthrough that has freed me from deep sadness over ending that relationship. I would have gotten better on my own, but it was the difference in getting better in 6 weeks with Lisa or 6 months or more on my own. If you are lost and need help navigating through your emotions, especially if you are at a point where you don’t feel confident about your choices, Lisa can help you access what you really want and offer strategies for improving the way you approach relationships with yourself and other people. Our friends and family are great, but Lisa provides a sound, objective way of counseling and you can not only hear she’s on your side, you feel that she cares for you like a brother or a sister.
