Dr. Jakobsen is OUTSTANDING!!! My son had severe ear pain on the weekend. I took him to urgent care & the nurse practitioner said it was infected & prescribed antibiotics. On Monday, went to our primary care doctor who said the eardrum was bulging & sent us to ENT… so the second half was right. After some difficulty getting through the front-​line office staff, my son was seen by Dr. Jakobsen. Within a couple of minutes, he identified the problem as fungal instead of bacterial, removed a large plug, and treated it with powdered boric acid/​amphotericin. He discontinued the antibiotics and most importantly, my son had immediate improvement in relief of pain! He was very efficient, professional & approachable… took the time to answer all questions. Dr. Jakobsen is the BOMB! Words cannot express my appreciation in finding «the guy» who got the diagnosis & treatment right!!!
