He saw me in the hospital and he was very direct with me on cause and effect of my condition but he was also very specific on solutions. You would be in good hands.

This Doctor is awful. Rude and condescending-will not listen. Never examined me(nor did they take blood pressure or temp-only weight) but was immediately convinced that my very random painful gastric gas episodes are the result of my «swallowing air”-this caused by STRESSANDANXIETY! When I responded that I really didn’t have a great deal of stress in my life, nor am I particularly anxious-he cut me off. I felt like he was saying that as a «little woman» I couldn’t POSSIBLY know ANYTHING about my body or my stress level! He was however VERY interested in writing me an order for a Colonoscopy and then getting me out of the examining room ASAP. It took me about a week to process this appointment in my mind and I have come to the conclusion that I do not want this man to probe me ANYWHERE-EVER; nor do I wish to have ANY contact with this clown as a follow up. I have gone to my insurer to find another doctor who will do the needed Colonoscopy although this will delay my care. I found another thing curious– my referral was for Dr. Ali A. Oliai; its on his letterhead. It took some digging on the internet to find that he is one and the same as Dr. Asghar A. Oliai. Interestingly I could find no reviews(good or bad) for Dr. Ali A. Oliai-but there are PLENTY for Dr. Asghar A. Oliai! I smell a RAT. I’ll leave that to someone else though-I’m OUTTAHEREWITHISDOCTOR!

This man is the most condescending and judgmental individual I have ever encountered, especially considering he is supposedly a healer and took the hypocratic oath to «never cause harm».

I was referred to Dr Oliai by my PCP after an alarming blood test. The office is located right next to Mission Hospital across from the The Shops at MV. As you enter the parking lot you are required to take a parking ticket of which the doctors offices here don’t validate. Kind of weird but oh well. Normal looking doctor’s office, was seen shortly after my designated appointment. When the doctor saw me I went into my explanation into what was happening and gave him a print out of my blood test. The instant he saw the results his face looked up at me as if to say«how the heck are you walking and conscience» it was kind of funny to see his deamenor when he saw the test page but also alarming of course. He immediately went into concerned, panicked tone, «we need to check this right away» he says. «Have they ordered you an ultra sound» he says, I go «yes, my PCP did and I already took the test, only waiting on the results now» He goes, «ah good» in that ethnic middle eastern accent. «Why didn’t your PCP test for xyz on this blood test, i don’t see that they did that, you could have xyz, why didn’t she test for that?» I’m like«um, I don’t know». I felt right at home with Dr. Oliai. He goes, «ok I test you for xyz right away, here take this paper and go right now to get the test done». I was like, «yes doctor right away». Fast forward 2 weeks later, after my ultra sound results comes in and additional blood work. As soon as I saw him, he goes,“your going to need surgery, no question about it, you need to have your body part removed right away”. «Are you in any pain? We’ll take care of this…» He yells out to the receptionist, «Maria, schedule an appoinment for Robert to see a surgeon ASAP» I then go to the receptionist and she goes into telling me what happens next and what she is doing and Dr Oliai comes out and goes Maria, who are you scheduling for Robert to see and she goes and says Dr so and so he then goes«no, schedule him with Dr. Coccia, is he under his insurance? if so get him to Dr. Coccia» he then turns to me and goes, don’t worry, I know Dr. Coccia personally, he is the best, he’ll take good care of you and fix you right up. Very assuring and comforting. And Dr. Oliai was right.
