I used to go to the one in Santa Ana, until it closed down I would GLADLY make the drive here just for Paradise! I absolutely ADORE their tuna pasta, cookies, bread and chicken and wild rice soup! Amazing!

ABSOLUTELY. LOVE. PARADISE! As a mall employee, I feel extra special coming here! Their soups, sandwiches and cookies are to die for! Their turkey cranberry sandwiches, paradise pasta salad, and soups are my favorite!!! The employees at the front are always very friendly & accommodating when they know I’m on a time crunch. Keep up the good work

I really love this place but people who are preparing your meal are terrible with they’re attitude i spoke with the manager once to let her know about the situation but people at front still treating me like shit. I really want to go back to get my usual large salad but I don’t feel welcome there anymore.

Alas, the last Paradise Bakery & Café shop in California. I first came across this chain when I used to help out my family when we had business in the Tyler Galleria in Riverside. One of the highlights going to that mall was getting a meal and of course a cookie or two or three. Then when I used to in Garden Grove I would get a meal the MainPlace Mall but alas Paradise got bought out by Panera and the Mission Viejo is the last of them. They kept all the recipes and I’m so happy I can still get my cookie fix. I love their Chocolate Chip Coconut cookie and Lemon Zester. Sadly, they ran out of the Lemon Zester for the day, which means I have to be back and also check out to see if their Chicken and Rice soup is just as good. Staff was friendly. I’m usually hardly ever in South County but this place is another good excuse to drop by. Perhaps a pick me up when I’m heading down to SD.

Always a great place to have lunch. I ordered a small BBQ chicken salad and an Arnold Palmer. Perfect portion and worth the $ 8.00. I’ve had their cookies before but opted out this time around. Figured with bathing suit shopping around the corner it’s best to be on the healthy side.

I first had this place at a catered event and was blown away. I love it! I get the chicken salad sandwich almost every time. Their salads are good too — the small is enough for a meal, and they come in cute little take out boxes. :) And the cookies… Mmm. The peanut butter chocolate chip is the best. I would go to the mall solely to eat at the food court for this place. And I HATE mall food courts with a burning passion.

Paid for my order of a dozen cookies and a cinnamon roll. When I got home, found only 11 cookies and a cinnamon roll. Not happy.

Wow. I was honestly just looking for a Mcdonald’s in this mall and I didn’t expect much out of this place when I ordered. But holy shit, the roasted chicken caesar salad was the best caesar salad I ever had. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Cookies, cookies, cookies. My brother and sister are related to the Cookie Monster ever since I introduced them to the cookies here it’s become a number one stop. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing, they are dense, moist and chocolate-y. They are buttery perfection and don’t crumble and aren’t doughy at all. They are buy 6 get 6 free or buy 3 get one free(last time I checked). This I think the last location of Paradise Bakery in California, so we try to come here often to support and get our cookie on.

Hands down the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had. Each is loaded with chocolate chips and perfectly chewy. I wouldn’t go all the way to this mall just for them — that would be unhealthy — but I always stop in when I am there. And they make a lovely afternoon pick-me-up/shopping break when paired with a cappuccino!

this place is so great to catch a bite to eat if youre in the mall. The tomato soup is my favorite soup. Its so good that I have on more than one occasion tried to make this soup at home, but it never turns out the same :(. My favorite cookie is the toasted coconut chocolate chip one. I really don’t like coconut at all, but this cookie is so good that I have tried to make this one myself as well at home… It didn’t turn out either :( Paradise can I please have the recipes!!!

I’m happy in Paradise! I became familiar with Paradise Bakery when I needed a reliable caterer for work meetings. They have box lunches that are always a hit when I serve them. Sandwiches are hearty, healthy and fresh. The box lunches come with chips, either pasta or green salad, and either a cookie or a brownie(depends on which box style you choose). Their salads are tasty and fresh too and you can get box lunches with a salad selection. I don’t usually go for tuna salad when catering but Paradise has the best tuna I’ve ever eaten. Not to creamy and quality tuna. The sandwiches are made on freshly baked bread. Condiments are served on the side so nothing gets soggy. The customer service is always stellar and they will go out of their way when I have special requests. I can also call them in the AM and have lunches delivered by 11:30. I’ve also stopped in the restaurant for pick up lunches when traveling up or down the 5. They are located just off the freeway at The Shops. Going there is dangerous! Not only did we leave with our lunches, we had boxes and bags of sweets! The bite sized chipper cookies disappear too quickly and my boyfriend was in a sugar stupor from eating two huge brownies. Give Paradise a try either for catering or when you’re in the Mission Viejo area and need a good lunch. I think you’ll fall in love with Paradise too!

They have the best cookies that I have tasted. Every time I come to this mall a stop at this bakery is a must. The cookies are always fresh and warm and simply delicious. The chocolate chip are my favorite and trust me, you will get chocolate in every single bite. Just the perfect cookie, sweet but not super sweet. Pair it with a coffee, soda, or as me and my son did today with some cold milk. They have a buy 3 get 1 free deal which is a good deal. They also have a selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads. So whether you need a quick snack or a bite to eat to get more shopping energy, definitely give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

I only stumbled on Paradise Bakery on my way to the restrooms at the mall. What a cool find! I got the croissant with ham/cheese with jalapenos. Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and wheat loaf(cut). The croissant was perfect(next day) after 10 min in the oven. The cookies were delicious! Let’s just say, the bag of 15 bite size cookies were gone by the time we got home. The wheat bread was the best wheat bread I’ve ever had. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu.

Located in the Mission Viejo Mall, Paradise Bakery brings a nice touch to the normal«mall eats». It’s healthier, it’s not too expensive and the employees are nice. I came in during lunchtime on a Thursday(I work within walking distance of the MV Mall). Paradise Bakery had by far the longest line to order out of all the joints in the mall food court, which I took as a good sign, and I decided to try them out. I ordered one of their lunch combos: ½ Sanwich and a Small Signature Salad. You have plenty of sandwich options as well as Signature salad options. I went with ½ Tuna Salad Sandwich and a Small BBQ Chicken Salad. I was also craving something sweet, so I ordered a cookie(which is buy one, get one free with Paradise). Little did I know until after I got my food that my combo meal also CAME with a cookie… I walked off with three sweets when I only wanted one. Three hours later, all sweets were gone… but that is another story! Sandwich = Fresh, moist, and had JUST the right amount of mayo(sometimes they put way too much on tuna salad!). BBQ Chicken Salad = Better than the sandwhich! Next time I would probably just order the salad alone since it was just so tasty. Chicken was cooked perfectly, there was plenty of BBQ sauce and the dressing was fantastic! Cookies = Melt in your mouth good! Yay for Chocolate Chip! Overall, Paradise Bakery adds a nice touch to the MV Mall. I’ll be back sometime soon on another lunchbreak! Until next time, cheers!

Lunch here was surprisingly delightful! I must admit, I didn’t think I’d find anything«good to eat» at a mall food court. I thought I’d have to settle for a «decent» small snack to hold me over till dinner while I finished out my day of shopping. For about $ 7-something, I got a basic«You Pick Two» Item deal. I went with a cup of their Fire Roasted Tomato Soup, with a Small Caesar Salad. It came with a Squaw bread roll, some crackers and a pat of butter. The soup was crazy flavorful! And just the right consistency! Not at all salty.(Which is my pet peeve. GAH with all the over-salting these days!) The salad dressing was just right. Delicious and not soaked, with gobs of Parmesan cheese. The croutons tasted ‘house-baked’. The Squaw bread was oh-so-soft, fresh, and mildly sweet. I didn’t even need the butter to go with it. So, Hooray for something good in the food court! I am content. :)
