My new favorite sandwich spot and seriously a hidden gem in Mission Viejo, It’s a located in a pretty small plaza right off the 5 freeway on La Paz. By looking at the décor and also the workers, it looks like a family owned business. A coworker and I split a Hot Pastrami, Provolone, and Jalapeño and Club Paradise. It was literally the most delicious sandwich ever. Also each order comes with a side of donuts and drink which really puts the cherry on top! Great customer service, great food, and I will definitely be back!

I’m going to write this review as an open letter to Subway Sandwiches. Dear Subway, F*** you. You’re overtaking this country with your lackluster menu. Your taking over local businesses with your identical restaurants, with identical interiors and identically mutant employees. And the fact that you’re taking over something so important and sacred as the American delicatessen means the devil is keeping a spot in hell warm for you. Paradise Deli is amazing, and a prime example of what we stand to lose if we don’t support local businesses. For $ 7 I got a delicious turkey sandwich, a donut, and a drink. The bread had a perfectly crispy crust and the meat was high quality, and the banana fritter was delicious. So Subway, suck one.

So I heard about this place because of my boyfriend. He travels from San Diego and Los Angeles on Occasion and he stopped in here on a whim with a client. He kept saying it was the most amazing thing he has ever had. I personally didn’t understand it. So he brings me up here to try the donuts and sandwiches and I must say my inner fat kid is happy. Everything is fresh and the lemonade .just like mama used to make haha I will be here again. I promise you.

What a great local spot! I decided I was not cooking and wanted to pick up something different for dinner. Found this place on Unilocal and figured«why not?» Ordered the hot pastrami and paradise club with two cake donuts and was on my way. Side note: I love that this is a donut shop! What better excuse could I have to pick up more donuts?!(My favorite treat!) Hubby loved the pastrami! The French roll bread was fresh and warm. Really hit the spot! So much better than subway or togos! We will be frequenting this place often in the future!

Hidden gem in Mission Viejo, one of my favorite places to go for lunch when I’m craving something sweet and savory. Why you ask? This place is the only spot where you can get both an amazing sandwich AND a donut as part of your meal. One of my coworkers used to live near here so he’s known about this spot for the longest time. It’s a located in a pretty small plaza right off the 5 freeway on La Paz. Pretty sure it’s family owned since he claims that prices haven’t changed in over 5 years. Been here 2 – 3 times and my favorite sandwiches are the Hot Pastrami, Provolone, and Jalapeño, Club Paradise and the Bacon Avocado. For any of their sandwiches, the amount of meat that they give is unreal. In fact, there are times where I’m thinking, I should go back and give back some of the meat. Along with the sandwich, I usually get the small potato or macaroni salad for only $ 0.75. Lastly, you get to pick a donut which is still mind boggling to me every time I go. I usually go with the donut holes to share with my other coworkers unless there is something else that catches my eyes since I don’t have the stomach after the sandwich. Great customer service, great food, and I will definitely be back. Thinking about it, this would be a great pit stop on the way to San Diego for those coming from LA.

I have to say this is my new go to place when I want a sandwich!!! I have tried at least half their menu and I have never been disappointed!!! My favorite is club paradise on the wheat roll. It’s funny because Beach Hut Deli is right next door and I used to be a loyal costumer until I tried a paradise sandwich. A sandwich, donut, and a small drink for about $ 9YOUCANTBEATTHAT!!!

This place is a great hole in the wall! I was introduced to this place by my boyfriend and his friends. They used to come here a lot when they were younger. Parking lot isn’t too big, but there isn’t much else in this plaza. You shouldn’t have too much trouble finding parking. It is located by the liquor store. It’s a pretty small place with some indoor seating. Tuna salad with avocado: Good! I like tuna salad. Hot pastrami, provolone, and jalepeno: I watched my boyfriend inhale this. I’m sure it’s very good. Bread on the sandwiches was really good. It was toasted perfectly. Also, every sandwich comes with a drink and donut!
