Parkway Cleaners

I’ve been coming to this cleaners for years. First off, as a small business owner myself, I appreciate seeing same person every time doing same consistent quality work each and every time. That to me is quality. Consistent, consistent, consistent. It’s too bad there aren’t more places like this. I enjoy supporting local small businesses and doing my small part to help our economy. Small businesses are lifeblood of this great country.

I have never received worse service than I did recently at Parkway Cleaners!
First off, I walked in on Monday asking if I could have a simple shirt and pants done by Tuesday night for an interview Wednesday morning. The lady said «sure!» so I left my clothes off and went on my merry way!
I walk in on Tuesday about a half hour before close. I give my name and a bag of 15 shirts comes out with the same name but different phone number. The lady said that the cleaners made a mistake and apologized. Understood. It can happen. I left with a smile on my face and wore something else to the interview.
I walk in two days later to pick up my clothes… Nobody is at the desk, so I ring the bell. I wait a couple minutes and ring it again. I wait for a good 10 minutes ringing the bell, walking in and out the front door sounding the entrance bell, and hear the phone ring to nobody’s response. I finally walk out for a fifth time and the lady (different one than before) who works there is chatting away at the donut shop next door…
She brings out my clothes and charges me the full price plus a fee for using my debit card for an order under $ 30… (I ended up getting that fee waved).
I don’t look for handouts, but after screwing up my order and making me wait 10 – 15 minutes because you’re too busy talking outside to actually work in your store, you’d think I’d get the charges waved, especially on a small order like I had. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and I will NEVER go back!!!

Been coming to Parkway Cleaners since 1986! Same small business owner is a pleasure to talk to and her customer service is top shelf.
