Horrible service!!! I came in to buy a gift for Xmas gift, the gift I was buying happened to be on clearance. I obviously didn’t want a red clearance sticker on it or any price sticker on it, so I explained to the cashier that it was a gift and that I was gonna remove the price (he was standing right in front of me) so I started removing the price and handed him the item to scan, he then informed me that it was not on clearance it was actually regular price! I was pissed!! I explained to him I got it from the clearance section and I also saw another one on the clearance table. He still refused to honor the price. I left the store and called customer service and I let them know what happened they informed me that I could go back in the store and talk to a «store manager».I went back in there and explained to the store manager what the issue was. He was very apologetic and explained to me that sometimes customers «tamper» with the clearance tags! I understand that it happens but really why are they even on the clearance table and there was more than one! So as I’m explaining this to the manager another saleswoman comes by and yells «they are regular price we have a whole wall of them over there!».How unprofessional!!! Im already dealing with the manager why does she feel the need to get involved or even make a comment! The staff at this store needs to be trained on what customer service is about! I will never shop here ever again!!! I will also make sure I spread the word!!! Please stay far away from this place!

It is truly a shame that a store with such great merchandise has such poor customer service. It appeared as if all the employees were clueless on the products available and their pricing. Further, they displayed a total disregard for customer’s time and needs. When I complained to a manager, she was patronizing and rude. She didn’t even have the business sense to apologize but simply thanked me for my complaint. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

I wish I could give ZERO STARS! I am disgusted and infuriated by the complete lack of empathy to the point of resorting to spitefulness to ensure the opposite of charity happens! It’s sickening! I saw employees behind the store smashing their merchandise to bits today, so I asked why they were doing that and the reply was «we’re told to do it, probably so the dirty dumpster divers can’t get it». I was speechless. Disgusted. And very sad. Are they really so worried that someone less fortunate might get something out of their trash that is nice or pretty or needed, or that their day might be brightened a little, that they go to the lengths of smashing everything to bits to ensure the opposite happens (with the added jab that it was done purposely) I realize it’s theirs to do with what they want and I’m also aware that there are laws on dumpster diving… blah blah blah… HUMANITY IS MY POINT Fact is, some people really have nothing. They do what they have to in order to survive. They have humbled themselves to look in the dumpster for the love of all that is giving in the world! LET THEM! SHAME ON YOU PIER 1!!! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!! and I’m donating everything I have ever purchased from them to charity.

Great store. Many options to decorate your home.

This is such a great store whether you’re looking for a little something to spruce up your home or for a gift for that special friend or family member. They have a great collection of beautiful glasswares, candles and furniture pieces. I especially love browsing through their store when they bring out their Christmas ornaments and decorations for the holidays. They have some adorable pieces I’ve picked up both as gifts and to decorate our home.
My most recent purchases were from their adorable Christmas décor. The first is an adorable ceramic joyful snowman adorning our front door and super darling ceramic scarlett tanagers measuring spoons, coffee mugs and spoon rests. When I first laid eyes on them in their Holiday catalog, I just knew I had to get a set of them and some as gifts. They are all made very well and of high quality. I would definitely shop here again.
Unfortunately I don’t shop in here as often as I’d like to because of all the breakable items that they have adorning their store. I’m so afraid that my daughter may accidentally knock their perfect tier of wine glasses or champagne flutes over. Thankfully she’s a great listener and happily enjoys rolling their cart around their store along with me as I quickly do my shopping
