I have been going to Dr. O’Braitis for years, and love the work he does. I have really bad teeth from a young age with TMJ complicating matters. He ended up leveling out my teeth and fixing the cracked teeth with crowns and veneers. He matched the existing teeth beautifully, and everyone compliments my teeth! I recommend him to everyone! He also has one day a week he works later so normal working folks can come without having to take off work.

To start with, I’m a huge chicken when it comes to going to the dentist. Not only did Dr. O’Braitis do an amazing job but he is very honest too. Here’s my story: About a 2 years ago I had a cavity on the side of one of my molars. I went to a place in Newport and they told me that not only did I need a root canal and a cap but also oral surgery on the gum for this particular tooth. This not only completely freaked me out but also did not really make sense. Why would they need to do oral surgery? Why would I need a root canal if the tooth didn’t hurt? … So I kinda postponed it for like 2 years. Anyway, I finally got up the nerve to go back. Luckily this time I went to Dr. O’Braitis. Turned out that all that this same tooth needed was a Dental Onlay(Just a big filling!!). No root canal! No oral surgery! Also, one of the worst parts for me is the big shot to numb the area. This usually really hurts! I don’t know how Dr. O’Braitis does it, but I seriously could barely feel a thing the whole time! Thank you so very much Dr. O’Braitis!

I went to Dr. O’Braitis to have an old mercury filling removed. It was tiny, but I’d experienced an uncanny number of symptoms that coincide with mercury poisoning, and I figured it couldn’t hurt to take out. I found his office from his Youtube video, and I knew as soon as I called it would be a good experience. All the front desk staff are lovely, helpful and friendly, and the dental assistant was great too! Dr. O’Braitis himself was super kind and friendly, I’ve had bad experiences with dentists before and he was very understanding and gentle. I felt completely comfortable. I was only there for about an hour, and they removed the filling and replaced it with composite bonding(it also turned out the mercury filling was leaking… yuck!). Dr. O’Braitis built up the new filling to match my bite, and I notice that it feels alot more comfortable to close my mouth now that that tooth fits together with the bottom teeth. Alot of my weird symptoms(like metallic taste in mouth, ringing in ears etc) have gone away, and I notice I have more energy in general. I think anyone with health problems that has mercury fillings should definately get them removed. I had a great experience with this dentist and if I need anything else I won’t hesitate to go back! :)
