You I find it amazing how this place depends so much on tech… Magnetic strip doesn’t work on a card… That they don’t know how to punch in the card number manually… AND that they will charge you more if they have to punch in the number … Simply because the swiper (that they service) doesn’t work… I am done with this place

I come here often since I work close. The service is good not sure what everyone is complaining about. The tables are clean (even though there’s only around 5 of them). I never wait long for my food and the beef bowl I always get is great!

Worst location horrible service they don’t know how to greet customers that walk into there, business where its suppose to be a customers service friendly food business. Be ready for the death stares you get from the employees because your on there time. Food blah overpriced plain bland food rice was overly dry veggies were uncooked raw unflavored & both the chicken & beef was extremely over seasoned dry cold & tuff to chew on. Come on flame broiler step it up clearly you guys suck with being friendly with your customers at least make the food with while & worth the death stares we get from your employees when entering your establishment. I wouldn’t recommend this location nor the quality of food was blah bland horrible service only one star because I liked my fountain soda other one bites the dust!!!

Food is good.
My one-star rating is specific to their horrible service. I’ve been here a few times and they are always rude. Just had a hispanic girl take my order. She didn’t make any attempt to even look me in the eyes in order to help me. When my order was ready, she simply yelled out my order and when I came up to get my food, again she didn’t look me in the eyes and didnt have decency of thanking me (their customer).
Had this happen before with her and another guy. I only go here bc its convenient for me as its next to the gym I go to.
Terrible service. Wipe them out and make new hires.

I paid for extra chicken and the employees response is, «double chicken is in the bowl.»
Shouldn’t you put extra chicken on the side? George has a bad attitude someone needs to fix the issues.
The employees are greedy with the servings

First time at The Flame Broiler. Prices were decent and I enjoyed my meal. Food was filling and just enough to get me through the rest of the work day.
I experimented with the different kinds of hot sauce, all pretty good.
I will go back again.

It’s been a long time since I have had a good bowl from flame broiler. The meat is always too cooked, too dry or just too old (been sitting for a while).At this flame broioer the cook literally made it in front of me fresh and perfectly marinated and grilled (: when I was waiting I asked a question about the veggies and the girl answered in a very detailed and helpful manner. When it was finished and ready to go, it looked like it just came out of a commercial it looked so good ! And when I ate it, omg so good !
I will be back !
First impressions mean a lot to me and you guys definitely left a good one.

I’ve never gotten so many bone/cartilage pieces in a flame broiler bowl before.

Pros: healthy choice options
Cons: horrible service
Recommendations: go somewhere else
I’ve gone here twice only cause I was too tired to drive to Waba or Fuji Grill. First time I went, the guy who took my order was completely rude. I had to ask for green onions and dressing on my salad after he ‘forgot’ to on my Chicken Plate. He wasn’t apologetic, and he even made a huge sighing sound. A month later, I decided to give them another chance. This time, the lady at the front made the exact mistakes and was a total B. She made some slight remarks about me being Asian to the guy making my food. Gurl, you have gaps all over yo face! She probably didn’t know I understood Spanish, cause you know, I’m Asian, I only know math.
I guess theres a reason why this place is completely empty each time I visited. I won’t be coming back. There’s a reason why this Chinito doesn’t go north of the 5 in south OC.
