I’m SO relieved to be switching to a different mail order pharmacy on 1÷1÷2016! My physician electronically submitted two prescriptions on 12÷10÷15. As of 12⁄15 their website still stated«in process» with no ship date. Their Customer Service phone line told me they HAD been shipped and would be delivered not later than 12//17. They were NOT delivered on 12⁄17 and I was given a USPS tracking number — it was now my job to figure it out. I asked for a Supervisor who told me they can do nothing. I made the comment that I have no drugs and she actually said«You waited until you were out to re-order?» NO, Ms. Snarky Idiot, this was a NEW doctor prescribing NEW drugs I’ve never had before. I’m so done with these people! The website doesn’t show updated information, their employees don’t know why, they need an Order Number from their own website to facilitate responses but they can’t access that number. It’s like an SNL skit which would be very funny IF it weren’t about delivery of one’s prescription drugs/medical care.

Could this business be any more ineptly run? It took at least a dozen phone calls to get my scrips auto-refilled. Today I got an overdue collection notice even though they bill everything directly to my credit card. I called the in-house collection agency and sure enough, they have the correct credit card information. This company sends me an e-mail each time it refills a prescription, when there’s a promotion, when someone in their office farts — so why can’t they send an e-mail that says ‘Hey, there was a problem charging your credit card. Please call us.”? Pathetic!

This is the only option I have now since my insurance will no longer let me use the local pharmacy for maintenance medication. So mail-order medication it is. I have switched to several different ones since I have been with OptumRx and the main complaint I had was only really with starting out my service with them. Initially, I was confused about what to do and the associate I spoke with was not very helpful either but after a couple of tries, they were able to figure it out and called my doctor’s office for the prescription. They took care of the prescription part which was really convenient for me. When I had to switch meds because the other type didn’t work out, I only had to make one phone call and told them to call my doctor’s office as I have already discussed it with him. They took care of that and in a week, I received my new prescription. There are several reasons why I am giving this place a 3-star rating. My transactions haven’t gone as smoothly as I would have prefered such as when my auto-refill was not explained to me properly. They need a card on your record to enroll you in the program and I was not informed. I sent in the paperwork filled out to auto-refill and I kept receiving messages about having to refill. When I called it was confirmed that I do not have auto-refill. The associate finally told me about the card issue and I gave them some information to get that going and make life a little easier. A couple of times, I’ve also received a blank letter containing only the header which was supposed to have been my confirmation when they had sent my prescription. I was very confused and had to make yer another phone call only for them to tell me it was supposed to be a confirmation. Doesn’t anybody check the outgoing mails before they send it out? Strange… Anyway, since they are my only option with my insurance, there’s not really much I can do and as long as they keep sending me my medications I’ll be okay.

After doing TONS of research on various mail order medical supply companies, I settled on this one. So far, they have been very nice on the phone, very helpful and informative and I received my first order. They took care of looking up my insurance, getting in touch with my doctor etc. and working with her to see that I received all the correct medications and supplies. I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and it was a bit difficult to get everything straight . I dealt with many of their representatives to get my service going, and only one was a bit deceptive in trying to sell me something that I didn’t need. Trust me, all the others I corresponded were horrible and the WORST one was a place called Express Meds which I also reviewed on here and gave a ONE star review. Also, this place is rated a B at the Better Business Bureau. Not bad at all compared to the many other medical supply companies I researched. If you DARE to use Express Scripts, do NOT say I didn’t worn you! UPDATE5÷08÷15 I wrote my original review as soon as I received my first order. I then realized that they gave me fewer supplies than I was supposed to get. I have been calling them EVERY day since APRIL18 to try to get this straightened out. EVERY day they tell me that they have no record of my calling to straighter this out the day before. THEN, they say they are going to straighten it out and send the missing Syringes, Test Strips and Lancets. THEN the NEXT day I call to confirm and AGAIN they say the have no record of this and AGAIN say they are going to send the supplies. EVERYSINGLEDAY, the SAME story but NOSUPPLIES. Also, every time I call, one rep tells me I have to pay for syringes, NEXT person says I don’t and gives me a refune, NEXT day they say I have to pay, so I use my credit card again, NEXT day they tell me I don’t have to pay and are refunding my money. EVERYSINGLEDAY from APRIL18 to TODAY and it is STILL not correct. If anyone know of a good supply house for Diabetes supplies, please email me. Thanks
