I am only giving them an extra star because they nurses are nice and my father is getting some decent therapy but… If you plan to visit your family after 5:00pm, let’s say after you get off work… then expect to be locked out in the cold banging doors, windows and ringing the bell until you catch someones attention. Yes it is this bad, even my dads ambulance crew waited outside for 15 minutes trying to get in. There is no front desk person after 5:00pm. There is not even a security guard to take care of something so simple as to let someone in the door. And the beds, they came off the Mayflower, these are the beds the hospitals removed over 10 years ago. they are the most uncomfortable beds ever made. Now my dad has been in a hospital bed for over a month now, he had to go to an air mattress about 2 weeks ago while in the hospital to releave pain in his hips and lower back. Now he is on one of these beds and in constaint pain. My advise is check find a place with newer equipment than this place. Another gripe I have is my dad does not eat much because the taste of the food is bad which can be contributed to the antibiotics he is taking. But he will eat Boston Market and Cheeseburgers I buy from local fastfood locations and he eats them with no problems. but they think he has problem eating in general so they ordered some testing on his abilities to swallow. They never offered him a cheesburger or asked me or my dad on his ability to eat. And the fact they have him laying down on this awful bed, how can anyone eat laying down? I’m just saying, you can find a better place. UPDATED: Original post I gave only 2 –Star A) They have one nurse that is just amazing — worth another star. B) They contacted me and asked if I had any concerns, I told them about the bed and they brought in an air mattress for my father. — worth another star. C) Still find it disturbing that there is no security gaurd monitoring the doors at night.
