Hobby Lobby

I like Hobby Lobby. The store is huge (bigger than Michaels), and there are frequent sales that change every week. For example, the entire frames section was 50% off this week so I bought a bunch of them. If there is something you need right now and you can’t wait, use the 40% coupon:

Not just limited to arts and crafts, Hobby Lobby also carries home décor items such as wall art, (faux) floral arrangement supplies, home science kits, and seasonal items such as Christmas trees and decorations, Valentine’s decorations, etc.

Very pleased with the service. Sales person told me at the checkout line to get a coupon on my phone so I saved 40 percent off my total purchase. Store was extremely clean and well organized.

I can always find what I need and a few extras. I get lost in all the crafty things and it always makes me want to redecorate a room or two when I visit this store.

I love that Hobby Lobby constantly has rotating coupons and discounts on their products. This store is big and has tons of merchandise, however, it’s almost impossible to find an employee when I’m here. On two different occasions I’ve asked employees if they carried a product, they quickly responded with «Nope.» and continued on their business, right after that I’d wander into an aisle and find exactly what I needed.

Love Hobby Lobby! This location is never crowded and it is huge! Love the 50% off mirrors, picture frames and holiday items almost all the time. They have a much bigger selection of scrapbooking materials than Michaels and it is cheaper.

The store is nice and clean, and seemed to have a good selection of crafty stuff. People seemed friendly and it seems that over half the store had 50% off signs on it. So I guess if you go and what you want isn’t 50% off, you might want to wait a week or two and go back?

I love crafts and this is a great place. They could have a bit more floor help.

It’s a newer store than the one in the fountains and tends to be a bit more clean and better organized. They have lots of sales during the year, so chances are if you are willing to wait a bit you can get a good deal on whatever craft purchase you are wanting. I especially love their decorative knob section, I was able for my latest craft project to get some really great buys for over 50% off. Make sure to sign up for their emails for they also send coupons from time to time.

I was glad when this location opened as the one in the Fountains, Stafford lacked the large selection of the one in Bellaire. This is a well run store with a great selection of some of THE best silk florals in Houston at a reasonable price. I lucked out this week into a ‘half off all silk flowers’ sale just when I needed to make a large spring bouquet! Yeah! Saved myself a fortune. I went to Michael’s first since they are closer, thought I picked out stems on sale, only to find that only Spring pic’s were on sale. Really? Since when are some roses spring and others not? No rhyme or reason and I ended up spending too much. Guess what? It all goes back to Michael’s. This store is also a great place for gift buying, garden décor, seasonal décor, some fabrics and trims, pictures, and accent furniture. I have, in the past, also done well buying candles and throw pillows, though at times the inventory can be hit or miss. So why do I rave and withhold that last star? While I appreciate freedom of religion, I STILL wish they were open on Sundays. I can’t tell you the many times I’ve wanted to get something they have on a Sunday and wish they were open. Sigh. Oh well, perhaps one day they will earn that fifth star.

I love this location. The service is always great and I like that they offer lots of coupons. I took the Wilton cake decorating class here and learned A LOT. The instructor was very knowledgable and class was so fun — time flew!
