A great meal and lovely friendly service. Loved the coconut shrimp with a Caesar salad. Husband ordered the vegan curry. Very tasty Highly recommend

4 of us had a great lunch here today. Hogie(special), buffalo wing wrap, ahi tuna, and jamboree Serrano all really good. Pleasant setting, great service. Would come again when we return.

Just tried the Arancini at Twisted Sistas in Moab– the deep fried Panko encrusted risotto balls were Fantastic — I am undone. Highly recommend this spot when in town.

My friends and I chose to come to Twisted Sistas Café after spending the whole day at MOAB. We looked up a few things on Unilocal driving over to town but just decided to play it by ear after we found a place to park. We walked around town a little bit but didn’t really see much that caught our interest. We then of course noticed the Twisted Sistas sign from across the street. We quickly checked Unilocal and saw that it had some good reviews. I’m suuuper glad we stumbled up on Twisted Sistas. We were greeted warmly when we walked in and shown to a table. We looked over the menu and ordered a few things! Fried shrimp(4.5÷5) — The fried shrimp were soooo good. It was six decently sized shrimp with a spicy asian sauce. The shrimp was a little coconuty which was good but the sauce was legit. Chicken lollipops(3⁄5) — The chicken was decent. It was just a little disappointing because there wasn’t any heat and the skin was pretty soft. Good BBQ flavor, but lacking a little. Bacon Wrapped shrimp(5⁄5) — The bacon wrapped shrimp was excellent. I hate when bacon is wrapped and not cooked all the way or rubbery. This bacon was perfect and the shrimp was well cooked. Spicy shrimp curry soup(4⁄5) — The soup was super flavorful. I wish it would have been served hotter but it was good either way. Parmesan crusted halibut(4⁄5) — You don’t usually put cheese and fish together but this worked! The halibut was juicy and fell apart. Overall this wasn’t the fanciest food we have ever eaten, but it was familiar food and it all had a lot of taste. If you’ve had a day in the national park or you’re walking around town, Twisted Sistas is a great place to stop!

Quirky, friendly, delicious, and well blended. In a party of 8, there were great options for everyone from the foodie vegan to the beef and pasta city slicker to the college students and picky tweets. Fantastic for a big group with a broad palate.

A very classy little restaurant that serves some original food. I had a pasta dish that came with chicken, cheese and? «meat» balls. The pasta was perfect and the meat balls very good if a bit unusual. I skipped a salad since there were some veggies in the entrée. Wonder of wonders, no bread was included, not even garlic bread! A real break wth the American rule that noodles must also come with bread. The raspberry sorbet was very good with almost too strong a flavor. The staff were friendly and efficient.

I miss the original poplar place restaurant. Haven’t been here in over 10 years, but Twisted Sista’s is not bad. The stuffed peppers were good, but the chicken fingers my kids ordered were a bit fibrous. Baked Brie was delicious. I likely won’t be back soon. Again it was okay.

Had high expectations based on the reviews and was disappointed. The chicken lollies were good, but the rest of the meal fell short. Shrimp wrapped in ham appetizer was just ok, and really didn’t enjoy the fairly dry Korean pork main or my husband’s fish special. The rice pilaf with both of the main meals was undercooked and crunchy. Service was slow, and not very friendly. A big disappointment.

This is officially my favorite restaurant in Moab, and at this point, I’ve been to quite a few. Their tapas menu is beyond delicious, as are their desserts. The service was great. Our waiter was super friendly and hilarious. I hate that this place only exists in Moab and that I have to wait until our trips into town happen in order to eat here, because it’s that amazing.

We went here for dinner upon arriving at Moab. They seated us near the stairs… not the most sanitary place to sit because people going up and down the stairs would presumably kick up dust and dirt, but we were informed that there wasn’t any additional seating available. Oh well. We were too tired and hungry to go somewhere else. The house tossed green salad with house vinaigrette was fresh and delicious. The brie and garlic herb flatbread was fairly good. Nothing exceptional. We didn’t like the chicken lollies — too sweet for our taste.

What a gem! After a marathon day of driving and seeing the beautiful works of nature art at Arches National Park, we were craving a sit down meal and decided to stop in based on other Unilocal reviews. We started with the flat bread with two dips. Delicious. I could — and did — eat the dips with just my fork. My husband ordered the steak with chimichurri sauce(he loved that it came with capers) and I ordered the vegan curry. My husband raved over his steak: cooked perfectly and he loved the sauce. My curry was outstanding. Spicy hot and hot out of the kitchen, it was hearty and flavorful with cauliflower, garbanzo beans and peas served with a tasty rice… perfect as the sun set on a spring night in the desert. I highly recommend stopping in for delicious food. The restaurant is also situated on a corner so you can Jeep watch as you enjoy your meal.

Came here around the holiday’s the place was not extremely busy so I couldn’t understand why I was ignored by the waitress. I overheard who I assumed to be the manager apologize to the table next to me for the service being so slow. Then I finally saw the waitress, rather than greeting me, offering me a drink she looked at me and walked back into the kitchen. So, rather than getting up and walking out because I was honestly tired and wanted to just eat and get back on the road I ended up grabbing the attention of whom I assumed to be the manager. He was much more pleasant to deal with. The soup was delicious as was the flat bread but the rude waitress I just couldn’t get. Maybe tourist get on her nerves, maybe she should take up another job where she doesn’t have to engage with folks. Overall the place was great just not into rude service and being ignored. Thank you sir whoever you were for taking care of me.

My partner and I were staying in Moab for six days so on our first night, we hoped to start things off right at Twisted Sistas. The restaurant is located in the heart of Moab. It’s a popular spot; we had to wait 30 minutes for a table on a Monday night(7pm-ish). My favorite thing about this restaurant is the friendly staff and service. The employees here are attentive, yet easygoing. I would not suggest dining here if you’re super hungry or after a long and vigorous day of hiking. The portions are small and the prices are pretty steep. The quality and quantity of the food don’t justify the hefty price tag but I guess there is a premium placed on tapas in Moab. Since this was our first meal in Moab, we didn’t have any expectations. My partner and I weren’t starving but we did work up an appetite. We ordered the following from the tapas and dinner menus: TAPASMENU: *Garlic-Herb Flatbread — artichoke and olive tapenade and black bean cream cheese. The flatbread was tiny! The dough wasn’t anything special, and the dips were average. *Curried Coconut Shrimp — six coconut curry battered shrimp served with a pineapple sweet chili sauce. Everyone on Unilocal raved about this but we were disappointed. This honestly tasted like something you could order at Applebee’s. The shrimp were small and we couldn’t tease out the coconut flavor. The chili sauce didn’t enhance the dish either(unfortunately). *Chorizo & Shrimp Meatballs — four chorizo and shrimp meatballs with ginger, lemongrass, green onion, cilantro, and carrot, all served over cabbage and drizzled with a chili-lime sauce. The meatballs were fine but again, there was nothing unique or noteworthy about them. I think I’ve had better meatballs from Costco during my last camping trip. DINNERMENU: *Spinach Salad — tossed with candied walnuts, dried cranberries, roma tomatoes, gorgonzola crumbles, and a maple balsamic vinaigrette. Your standard salad. *Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie — a decadent dessert that we hoped would end our meal on a high note. Chocolate peanut butter pie is a grown-up version of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. Since Reese’s is my favorite candy, this pie was basically made for me. The peanut butter filling was rich, creamy and thick. The chocolate layer on top was sweet and smooth. I liked this pie but once again, I felt like I could find this in a grocery store. DRINKS: Dead Horse Amber(moi) and Rocket Bike Lager(le boyfriend) — because why wouldn’t you sample the local brews? Perhaps the dinner menu offered better/heartier options but I found the tapas menu underwhelming. Nothing stood out to me; every dish was plain or boring. Definitely some extra spices or seasoning would have helped to create bolder flavors. However, our server, Eric, was superb and he was very patient with us(we took a long time to decide our order). All in all, the meal was expensive for the quality of food and portions; the dishes weren’t terrible nor excellent; so a solid three stars for Twisted Sistas.

After a long day of hiking in Moab, we were pretty hungry. I narrowed it down between two restaurants and we decided to give the Twisted Sistas’ Café a go. Located right on the main road with a very colorful sign, it was easy to find. Inside, the bar was bustling with lots of people enjoying happy hour. The wood rafters and balcony gave this place the feel of a country ranch while the colorful chairs and Christmas lights gave it a hippy spin. We sat at a table for two. While there was only one vegan item on the menu, I was hoping we could find an appetizer as well. We inquired about the garlic herb flatbread with olive tapenade and the server assured us it was vegan. After ordering, she came back and said the flatbread was not vegan because there was dairy in it, but she could serve me some rice crackers with the tapenade instead. Okay, fine. It was actually pretty good! It went well with the wine as well. For my entrée, I ordered the vegan item on the menu — Vegan Thai Vegetables. This coconut-based lime curry was loaded with squash, carrots, broccoli, red peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes. It looked really good and definitely hit the spot, but the sauce needed more flavor. We spent about an hour there eating dinner. The service was okay, the atmosphere was a bit dry, and the food left something to be desired. Also, for this small town, I’d say the food was definitely overpriced as the entrée alone was like $ 16! Next time, I think I’d choose another place instead of this one, but the truth be told, it’s a small town without a lot of options so there’s only so many places to go! Perhaps grabbing dinner from the local co-op and enjoying it picnic style on the rocks is another option.

Great place to unwind after a day of outdoors activities. The service was excellent and so was the food. Between the four of us we ordered the French onion soup, the coconut shrimp soup, the chicken lollies, and an assortment of flatbread. We wanted a lighter meal and this place delivered. Nothing overly drenched in oil and we didn’t walk away feeling bloated. It’s a bit pricey for the entrees but the quality is worth it.

Solid three and a half stars! Came here for lunch with two others after a morning of hiking at Arches. [Service]: very friendly waitress! She was happy to answer questions about the menu and checked up on us often. Granted, we were the only table at the time, so not sure what a busier time would be like. [Food]: everything came out very quickly, and was mostly great. My soup and flatbread portions were smaller than I expected, but both were tasty. The grilled teriyaki chicken breast burger had a delicious sauce, but was dry in parts. We also got two wraps, which were pretty tasty, although the beef tenderloin was a bit salty. Overall, the sandwiches and wraps are a good value, and they’ll definitely fill you up for lunch!

After a long day of driving and viewing lookouts and arches, luckily this place was still open as it seems like everywhere closes early and opens not as early. I really wanted to come here to try their tapas. Sat next to the window. Ate the French Onion Soup, Chicken Lollies, today’s special, Buttered fish with coleslaw and purple rice. French Onion soup: baked mozzarella cheese covered the with the beef bouillon broth, sliced onions and bread inside. Topped with chopped green scallions. The only downfall to this was the hard-as-a-rock pebble like something. The waiter or owner said it was most likely the bouillon cube piece. $ 6. A good go-to warm-up soup. Chicken Lollies: 4 crispy chicken lollipops with a sweet chili sauce and a mound of cabbage salad with cranberries, julienned carrots, peanuts, sunflower seeds, purple cabbage. This is perfect to share with a table of four or just for yourself for a light meal. $ 10. Absolutely a to-get dish! Tonight’s Special– Spicy Buttered Fish: Spicy dry rub on the baked buttered fish was cooked to perfection! A couple avocado wedges sat atop the fish. Side couplings of purple rice and coleslaw. The coleslaw was made of cabbage and purple cabbage, raisins, sunflower seeds in a mayo based dressing. $ 23. The dry rub buttered fish with the avocado was a flavorful part of the dish. Server was attentive to water refill and came back at the right times for taking order, answering the«hard-like-a-rock» question, conversing and bringing the check. Definitely try this place out for tapas!
