Glendale Motel

Real basic, but very clean, and quiet, at least when I was there. I think door locks should be updated as they seem very old fashion. I saw no bedbugs at all, and spent time looking closely for them. The Quickie Mart is real close and handy.
I will be back next year God willing.

I stopped at The Virgin River Casino in Mesquite after driving 28 hours straight from So. Dakota. They wanted $ 99 for a room that I paid $ 28 for two weeks earlier, so I continued west. The next stop was Glendale, NV. The Motel was straight outta the late 50s which was good, and the room was $ 35 which was $ 64 better than the cookie-​cutter style room down the road. Too bad the café has burned down, but a brand new one is almost finished. Besides The Muddy River Bar & Grill is only two shakes of a Sidewinder’s rattles away which is a very good thing. Not much at the motel in the way of modern «necessities» such as Wi-​Fi, HBO, Starbucks, microwave etc. or even an ice machine, but ya know what? Who the hell needs them? I think I found my new best place to crash when in South-​eastern Nevada.
