Mobile Airport Authority

This is a small but functional airport. I came here around Christmas time in 06, and they had a local middle school choir performing, pretty cute. Parking isn’t a problem, checkin and security checkpoints were easy to deal with. It’s not the prettiest or too memorable, but it ain’t bad.

Delays, delays are an issue when there are approximately only 10 flights out of this place in a day. The terminal is clean, lots of outlets and has wifi capabilities. One place to buy magazines, necessities and food after security but outside of security was at least a Quiznos and I think another magazine stand.
They have lots of potential to grow this airport into a nice little commuter hub but first they need to get an airline to commit to making more flights in and out of there.

Mobile Aiport is a small, but thriving airport serving the region. A few years ago, I would have given the place a one star review, but that’s changed. The airport has done an amazing renovation over the past two years and it’s so nice. The terminal area has some nice, clean, bright shops to invite the traveler to the area. The waiting area is also extremely bright. The waiting area is also lined with rockers for family members and friends looking to relax for the wait. Its renovations have made it a comfortable, regional airport to travel through.

BAAAHHHH… Help me!!!
I am stuck in the Mobile Airport!!! It is 4:45 pm. My flight was supposed be at 2:30!!! My flight isn’t taking off to till 6:35 pm… booo hoo!
So sad. So I had not a great trip here to these parts and now I am sitting here… online…talking to my beloved Barbara… and she is consoling me. Great friends!
Let’s rewind a couple days. It was Christmas eve… I had a tough situation and decided it was time to come home to LA… so my awesome friend Karisha and I drove from Pensacola, Florida to this airport. I missed my flight by 30 minutes. And had to turn around and head back to Pensacola. Sad. The ticket agent was like, «Why didn’t you call first?» I said, «Why? Where I am from there are flights anywhere ²⁴⁄₇!» Spoiled again…
The airport is small, it has a strange sculpture in front, and only 2 bars!!!
