Mobile Baybears

The Mobile Bay Bears are the AA Farm Team (Southern League) for the Arizona Diamondbacks, and prior to that the San Diego Padres. They arrived in Mobile with the construction of their new stadium prior to the 1997 season. The Stadium is named after baseball’s all-​time home run king and Mobile native Hank Aaron.
The last time I was in Mobile, I took in a baseball game and thoroughly enjoyed the fun, the sun, accessibility to the players, and the relatively cheap prices. I suppose I should have taken notes on who I saw that day who have made it to the «Show». Instead, I was swept up with the corny promotions (including the nearest golf ball to the outfield couch after the game), good friends, and several cold ones.
