We stopped here on our way home from FL Beaches. Every bit as good as the other reviews say! What a neat fun place to grab lunch. Delicious. Thank you!

I honestly don’t know where to begin with this. I was in town just to explore Mobile. I decided to give this place a try, and oh the joy it brought me. I would tell you how amazing my sandwich was specifically, but I’m confident every sandwhich is great. Every single ingredient, the taste, the freshness, everything was amazing. I couldn’t dream of a better sandwich. My friend got a salad and this is where we found out they make their salad dressing in house. I’m head over heels for this place. My only regret is I’m not sure how many more times I can visit before my stay is over.

Great place. Friendly staff. Perfect food. I have bragged about this place since we left. I really wish we had a place like this in Pensacola.

Great food. This is one of those places when you come to Mobile that you cannot miss. Price is great and food is even better.

Out of control! It literally could not have been tastier. I had the Schoel sandwich. Smoked turkey with crispy bacon and jalapeño cheddar. This place rocks!

I stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday after reading all the great reviews and left very satisfied. We got here around 1:30 and were able to order right away. The gentleman at the cash register was very friendly, and patient/helpful answering all of my friend’s questions. I had the Schoel, which was a great compilation of turkey, bacon, and jalapeño cheddar. Unfortunately they were out of potato salad, so opted for the cole slaw as my side. Both the sandwich and the side were very good and you can tell that everything is homemade. I wish the jalapeño flavor was a bit spicier, but I also understand that not everyone enjoys spicy food like I do. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich, and they were accommodating in a special request of heating the sourdough bread with a slice of swiss cheese melted on top. For the two sandwiches and two iced teas, our bill was $ 23. The atmosphere is fairly low frills, but hey I came here for the food. Even though the cookies on the counter looked great, I didn’t partake in any. Maybe next time, as I plan on coming back to try more options.

I’ve been coming to Mobile for over three years on business and can’t believe I’ve never eaten at this place before! Such great food. The turkey sandwich was fantastic, awesome flavor and very hearty. The pasta salad is a must if you like olives and artichoke hearts. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic. This is an amazing little sandwich shop. I got the Johns Special, potato salad, and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. Great little spot for lunch!

Regina’s has delicious sandwiches! You can definitely judge a sandwich place by their cole slaw. If they put a lot of effort into delicious cole slaw then everything else is usually pretty good. Regina’s has some of the best cole slaw I’ve ever eaten. The Mary Ann(grilled cheese with bacon) was good. The bacon was slightly overcooked for my tastes but that is the only improve I have for the establishment. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich felt like it has about a jar of each on it. The sandwich is definitely worth the money. The atmosphere is good for families. My toddler son ran around after being cooped up in the car for a few hours and no one seemed to mind which was refreshing.

You can’t ask for a better restaurant! Regina’s is #1 on Unilocal for a reason, this was some of the food I have had in a long time. Highly recommend!

I can not believe I found this gem. It is not in the best area but everything I have had was awesome. You can tell they make all of there own sauces, dressing, everything. It is all very fresh and they are only open for lunch. But good news is you can buy many of there items in pints to take home with you.

Regina’s is everything I look for in a sandwich shop. Delicious, quaint, quick, and did I say DELICIOUS! Definitely not a hidden gem! It’s an out in the open gem. Everyone loves Reginas! And if you are a local that hasn’t been, it is a must do to reaffirm yourself as a Mobilian. The building itself has a cool bit of character. Definitely conveniently located for the average midtowner, and easy to access from West Mobile, Downtown, or the high way. I don’t have a favorite item yet because I’m still trying new things. They have all be spectacular. Btw Regina is the person making everything. Yes the owner is working, and perhaps it’s her heart that is going into all of the food. She is a wonderful funny person if you get the chance to talk to her. There is only one problem with Regina’s Kitchen… it is only open for lunch, and even worse only until 2pm!!! And it is closed on the weekends!!! Gasp! So if you want this deliciousness you’ll have to be ready to get here during lunch. But even if you were fired from your job because you drove 20 minutes to get there for lunch you would not regret the choice… well maybe a little… but then you could get a new job closers to it and have happiness forever.

So in an attempt to give you something fresh here, I’ll give you a list of things NOT to do: –Do not be surprised when you begin to wonder if your Über driver is a creeper and taking you into his/her backwoods torture palace. This place is not in the city center and will take a while to get to. –Do not be dissuaded by the line. It moves quickly and is a sign of good things to come. –Do not tip. This one was strange, but there’s not a tip jar and there’s no room on the credit card slip to add one in. The guy behind the counter said his tip would be our enjoyment. Love. –Do not be afraid to go off menu. Want to trade bacon for turkey? You be you. –Do not expect to finish the entire thing. It’s so amazing and you’ll want to keep eating well after you’re full, but trust your 4pm uncomfortable self and stop eating while it’s still enjoyable. –And finally, do NOT miss Regina’s Kitchen during your stay in Mobile. All of those glowing 5 star reviews are spot on, this is a dream of a southern lunchtime establishment.

A MUSTTRY! I just moved to Mobile from the land of awesome food spots(Bay Area, CA) and was lucky to have discovered this hot spot on Unilocal.Wow! All I can say is his place is so good… it’s open all of 3 hours a day. There also wasn’t a line of less than 3 people the entire time I was there! The sandwiches are amazing and portions are enormous! [Quite easily the BEST potato salad I’ve ever had.] This is a sandwich spot for the books. I’ll be back for sure. :))
