Three George’s Nut House is also a bakery. Ordered a Lemon Poppy Seed cake for Christmas. On their web site cake is shown as baked in a tube pan, described as a pudding cake with a tart lemon glaze. Drove fifty miles to pick up the cake. When I returned home, and opened it, the cake was small, had been baked in a bundt pan(not a tube pan), and had no glaze at all. It was more like a pound cake. Telephoned the company, who claims that they have a whole new production group. Staff member agreed that cake had been baked in a bundt pan, but said that it did have a glaze. No, it did NOT… was not anything like pictured and described on web site. Another big disappointment. Staff member claims they will bake another cake and ship it to me next week, in time for Christmas. I declared a couple of years ago that I would never buy any bakery item there again, due to green mold found inside bottom section of pecan cake. Unfortunately, I did not keep my word to myself!

Well I will say that the staff is very very very friendly. But the chocolates leave something to desire. They were nothing more than overpriced Hershey’s in a pretty display. Save your money and buy brachs… and the day that we went there was a dog inside of the business… uh people we do serve humans here… that is just plain disgusting!
