Wade Distributors

I used to lay tile and this is my estimation of their work. The Good: They did a great job of laying the tile and it looked fantastic. The Bad: Back when I laid tile, a two man crew could lay a warehouse in a day and grout it the next, the Wade Crew took three days for two medium sized rooms and two days for two small rooms. Also, I gave them a number of instructions to not rehang doors and trim so that they can be repainted and new hinges added but the layers replaced the trim and doors anyway. The Ugly: I told them I wanted matching grout but they put brown grout with grey tile which is very noticeable. They also charged 20 dollars per door (80 dollars in total) to shave off the bottom which was entirely unnecessary because the carpet that was in the rooms previously rose well above the level of the tile. Now I have a big gap under each door. I plan to tile my kitchen and the bathroom walls and I will be looking to another company.
