We found this hidden gem last August, 2015. Tiny tasting room but truly outstanding wines. Selections are mostly(blissfully) dry reds and a few whites, along with an outstanding port style dessert wine. I’ve visited over 20NC wineries and had easily the most informative conversation about wine making with the gentleman conducting the tasting. So glad we stopped by!

This a really nice small winery. The owner/winemaker knows his stuff and is happy to tell you all about the winemaking process. This is definitely worth stopping at if you’re in the area in into dry wines. The grapes they’re growing are some unique ones carefully selected. Anyone growing petit verdot is worth keeping an eye on in my opinion. Selfish is also the best dessert wine I’ve had in North Carolina, hands down.
