If you go, you have to get the birria soup plate! It is bomb! I give it 4 stars because the wait is a freaking nightmare. Especially when it’s freezing outside. All in all: be prepared to wait and the food will, be worth it. The birria tacos are very flavorful too. They have about 5 different types of salsa and you get hand made tortillas. Will, be coming again!

They have great tacos de birria and their huchepos(corn tamales are delicious). Their customer service can definitely be better though. Despite the unfriendly staff this place is worth the visit

Every time I came from San Jose to Modesto its a must stop. The birria is really good especially with all the different hot sauces they have to offer. Hand made corn tortillas.

Tacos were ok but flies are everywhere on the tables, which look that haven’t been deep cleaned in a long time, trash is on the ground on the back on the truck and the attitude of the bratt taking the order was a good reason for us not to recommend this place nor come back.

I have been eating at this truck for over a month now and I am very excited to be the first Unilocal review. From the wrap on the truck you can tell the owners are from apatzingan, Mexico. I hope that tells people about the particular style of Mexican food that is served here. Quality: the quality of the food can stack up to any in the area. They make their tortillas by hand and each one of their numerous salsas has it’s own distinct flavor. I’ve had birria, tacos, burritos, chavindecas, plus numerous items that I can’t say let alone write. The two things that stick out in my mind are the rice and beans. The staple of any Mexican restaurant is rice and beans, but Too many places settle for canned beans and bland rice because it’s cheaper and easier. Birrieria Chito takes rice and beans to a whole new level. Simply put, if these guys are willing to put that much time and effort into their rice and beans, I can only imagine how much love goes into their meats and entrees. I taste the love in your food, well done! Price: The price is a huge bargain given the quality. A supreme burrito will run you $ 6.00 and it can put even the hungriest of men to sleep for the afternoon. When you consider the variety of different salsas that are complimentary too this becomes more of a steal than a deal. I think word is getting out about this place too because the lines are getting longer and longer each week. Consistency: I can honestly say that every eating experience that I have had here has been great. The food always comes out hot and I would say consistent good quality food is one of Birrieria Chito’s strengths. Overall: in conclusion, this place makes me want to move to apatzingan. Well done, guys. I hope the lines don’t get too long when word gets out about you all.
