I realize this hasn’t had a review in sometime! Now known as the June Bug! The bartenders Courtney & Jessica were awesome. My down fall. Hotter than hades in there, I think the swamp cooler was broken or something. None the less we had a great time– free pool on Sunday’s and the bartenders were down to earth, easy to talk to and nice to gets long with! Drinks were delicious and had zero complaints there. We are new to the area so they were able to suggest some good eats close by… Awesome time :)

I was able to do the worm, with no judgment. Awesome!

Came here over the holidays when I was holed up at my mom’s house doin the family thing.
First thing’s first I have to big this fine establishment up because my aunt and uncle met here and I would be minus a cousin if not for this place. So yeah, at least two stars for that as biased as that may be.
The bartender chick here was way cool. Definitely the type of chick you can sit there, shoot the breeze and take some shots with (I love bartenders that’ll drink with you). So another star there.
Fourth star comes from the clientele, when I was in there the regulars were mad cool to my young outsider ass. Even buying multiple rounds for my friends and I (and everyone else in the bar).
If you ever find yourself in Modesto the first thing you should do is try to figure out a way to get the fuck out. But if for some reason you can’t and you decide you want a drink, try to wash up at the Glo-​Worm.

Great staff, cheap drinks, and a real down-​home crowd. No dress code, pool tables and a very special type of local charm. It would be nice if they replaced the popcorn machine.

Beautifully trashy. If you love a true dive bar… go here. The bartenders are almost always wasted. There are some regular faces in there who just some to drink a few and play the jukebox. There are a couple pool tables and sports on the tube. If you run into Rose. have her show you the bar towel trick.
oooo and FYI it smells like a porta potty. HEHEHE!
