This place is a joke lol they charge 50 cents for everything I got two carne asada tacos and I asked for them to be well done and the lady told me she had to charge me 50 cents I said okay Avalle de Ameca down the street has better food and they don’t charge 50 cents extra if you ask for: the meat to be well done or because you ask for the salsa on the side instead of on top of the tacos? How ridiculous is that? I don’t understand why they’d charge extra to put salsa on the side when they’re already putting them on the tacos? Then the lady says if you have any questions you can call the owner who’s number is located on the side of the truck so I did. And the number is disconnected. Lol what a joke.

I forgot to post this when we went 3 weeks ago. The burritos are real greasy and the chili taste gross. i didn’t finish it threw it away… we went there for Carne asada tacos ordered 2 and 2 Carne asada burritos. we got home and the Carne asada tacos were not in bag…

Great food for 50 cent tacos. Service was excellent & they call you by your name. My family really enjoyed the tacos & went back to order more.

I love the tacos and the lady’s in the truck. They are so nice and make your food quick. My favorite this to get is tacos de carne Asada with green salsa.

They don’t lie. The tacos are 50 cents except for lengua, cabeza, and tripas (which are a dollar). It’s all well worth it. Cheap and delicious, food trucks don’t any better than that. I ordered the carne asada tacos and the tacos de lengua. Both I would recommend.
I would give this place more stars but I for someone who doesn’t live in the area, the area is a bit sketchy. For one, the taco truck is actually located across the street from where the Unilocal address suggests. Two, parking may be difficult to find because it’s located next to other competing taco trucks and a small grocery store. Not mention that the main road is often very busy so it’s a hassle to drive around sometimes. Normally I don’t mark down for location but personally, I don’t see myself frequenting Jessica’s because of where it is. But if you insist on trying it out, you won’t be disappointed

This place is hands down the best for cheap super delicious authentic Mexican food. I always come for the tacos. At $ 0.50 a taco it doesn’t get better than this! This place even has an indoor seating area if you want to stay and eat making it that much better than most food trucks in general. I’m always here if im visiting family and have brought friends around to try it. Keep up the great work!

First of all I’d like to state that I am not Mexican and have only had authentic Mexican food a couple times my whole life. So if your are like me and just want to try out something simple and flavorful I strongly recommend! After hearing a great review from my husband who’d been treated to lunch here from a friend a while back and our neighbor, I decided to stop by for lunch today. Left satisfied and happy!
1– the address Unilocal provides is not accurate anymore. It is on the same road but other side a bit farther down. I did a drop pin search on my phone and the address comes up as 101 – 299 Kendee Rd

2– the truck seemed cleaner and better maintained than other trucks in the area. They even have an indoor seating area next to where the truck parks in case you want to sit there and eat which is def a plus but it’s not the nicest and cleanest
3– prices were really good for the food. The carne asada burrito supreme (what I got) comes with meat, sour cream and cheese. Regular burrito comes with only meat. The meat isn’t dry but instead seems to be mixed with salsa making is super juicy and yummy.
This place has way better food and prices compared to La Morenita which is a Restaraunt I live right next to. Their bland and over priced food does not compare. I mean yes, this place does only offer a handful of menu items but that’s ok since I don’t think I will ever come here and not get a carne asada burrito!

Everything is good. Price, good portions, bilingual, great taste, not many weird people, short waiting time.

Me giving a 5 star Unilocal rating is like more rare then a solar eclipse happening but I gotta give credit where credit is due and Jessica’s not only gets a shout out from me but a standing ovation as well… It’s been a while since I’ve been here so I almost dropped on the floor from what I saw when I pulled up… and what did I see u ask… a double vision of Jessica’s!!! Not only can u still get the $ 0.50 tacos here but Jessica brought her twin sister truck along parked right next door that sells $ 1 tostada de cerviche… I repeat $ 1 cerviches! What more can a man want… I’m seriously starting to think to move to Modesto now and do a 2 hr. commute to work everyday…

. 50 cents for tacos. You can’t beat it. The tacos have plenty of meet and fixings. You can get a meal for 2 bucks. Its good and worth trying if your in the area.

The tacos are great. and at 50 cents, you can be extra fat and get 10 for 5 bucks. It would have been 5 stars, but –1 star for not controlling the transient begger problem they have. The last thing I want to do is smell some nasty person who hasnt bathed in 3 months while waiting for my food.

Yum! Cheap tacos everyday for fifty cents! You can’t beat that. I guess unless you go to Mexico. But Modesto is much closer for you NorCal folks. I went during the day so it wasn’t too ghetto. There are tables inside but a lot of people eat in their cars. It was too damn hot out though… luckily they had fans and an indoor room.

50 cent tacos? Are you kidding me? And I can order brain, tripe, and tongue tacos? Washed it all down with some tamarindo. Authentic AND cheap. Love it.

its nice that they finally have somewear to sit at. Plus they have video. games, a fan, and music so its pretty chill.
Good food when on a budget.

$ 0.50 tacos! I’m not sure why it’s only at this particular Jessica’s truck though. We go this location and the one on 8^th street. Burritos, Quesadillas, Tostadas, and Tacos are good. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it’s not consistent every single time we come. Overall, still a good place to hit up for cheap eats!

Fifty cent tacos? Holy crap. I just started a new job out in Modesto and this is now my new favorite place to eat tacos in Modesto.
Beware, there are more junkies here than you can throw a crack rock at.

I’ve been to a good handful of taco trucks in and around the bay area and i have my favorite spots. the average price for a taco around $ 1.25.
now Jessica’s just blew me away. i drove through and the sign «Tacos 50cents» caught my eye. i wasn’t even hungry either… now you would think for 50cents you’d only get the bare minimum: tortillas, a few pieces of meat, and a droplet of salsa. nope. Jessica’s hooks it up. you get the warm tortillas, a good amount of meat, onions, cilantro, and an overdose of salsa. good stuff.
they even have an indoor seating area complete with tables, chairs, video games for the kiddies, and it’s clean inside. but like the other review mentioned, beware of the «local flavor» here. they’re inside and outside waiting for some change or waiting for you to dump your glass/​plastic bottles, or just standing by the arcades staring at the lights.

Every time I head out to Modesto for work, I try my best to come here. Cheap, delicious and fast. Lunch for under $ 5, now that’s better than Taco Bell!
Just be careful coming here, a lot of the local Modesto junkies eat here too. Hey, I can’t knock them, they know where the cheap good foods are.
