I don’t know about service here being bad.
Because when I’ve come in, it was all good.
I ask you, who doesn’t love getting a Hallmark card? WHO?!
Old school, old fashioned, a little hokey, a little corny… sure. But they’re still the gold standard of greeting cards, are they not?
When I needed a nice box of thank you cards, I came in & I got a nice box of thank you cards.
When I needed a nice box of Christmas cards, I came in & I got a nice box of Christmas cards.
Done & done.

Two stars is strictly for merchandise selection. My 8 year old daughter, my boyfriend, and I went in today to look for a Disney ornament for a wedding gift. We were in there about 5 minutes browsing the ornaments when a lady suddenly appeared to my left and asked if we needed help. I said no, we are browsing the ornaments. My daughter and I were pressing buttons on the sample ornaments to listen to them and since she stayed right up on us just staring I thought maybe we were not supposed to touch them but I looked for signs and didn’t see any so I did not tell her to stop because she wasn’t being obnoxious, she was simply showing me what each one did. The lady had her laser eyes directed to me but I was trying to distract my kid from the glare. I asked if there were any more Disney ornaments and the lady said around the corner. Now, there were more than 5 other customers in the store browsing freely, without the death glare I was receiving. My boyfriend walked away annoyed with the lady and thinking he was the cause but the lady did not leave my side until a customer approached
the register and she HAD to. I found him and told him we were leaving because I was uncomfortable and annoyed. He said he was too and that she made him feel like a criminal. Luckily my child was oblivious to it all. I have managed the Santa Claus photo set in the Village for the last 3 years. I have come into this store on many breaks just to browse. I have come in to buy at times. I have NEVER been treated as I was today and she is lucky I had my child with me or I would have caused a scene because we did absolutely nothing to deserve the death glare we received. I had every intention to spend money in this snooty store today but never again! Eventually there will be no more snooty customers and they will go away unable to adapt to a new customer base. Good going ladies! Keep up the evil glares!

Dismissive and rude! Don’t dare ask if a certain item they are out of stock on will be in anytime soon. Don’t dare ask a question at all! EXTREMELY rude! And I think its the lady who owns the store that was rude! I wish Unilocal had a zero star review cause you earned it!

Nice store but they will not give cash refunds only store credit. I don’t like that policy! I live out of the area so now I have to drive over an hour to use my credit since I couldn’t find anything I wanted today! The lady refused to make an exception for me since I live so far away. A no cash refund policy only helps the business not the customer.

The two ladies who run this place are rude, condescending and generally unpleasant. Go to the hallmark store near Barnes & Noble!

Hallmark is a classic. It is one of the first places I think of when I need a greeting card, which is quite often.
I am the type of person who likes to stock up on greeting cards. It is nice to always have a card on hand for any occasion. Birthdays, anniversaries and get well wishes abound.
At this time of year I love looking at all of the Keepsake Ornaments. I always find a new ornament to add to my collection. This year is no exception. There are several that I want this year.
