Mariscos Sinaloa

Enjoyed my time there on Saturday. They had live music. I had a chavela and some oysters. Service was great and fast. I will def be coming here again.

Ok, so I was really craving ceviche, but everywhere I’ve had it here in Modesto seriously let me down. I haven’t had awesome ceviche since I lived in San Diego in 2008. That’s a long dang time to go without that deliciousness! I Googled best ceviche in Modesto and this place came up. I read the Unilocal reviews, and decided to road trip it for 20 mins, and see what all this hype was about. I am so glad I did! This stuff is ridiculously good. I can’t wait to try the fish tacos!

I want to give this a five star por el ambiente tienen conjunto chingon. But the first impression at any Mexican restaraunt is the chips and salsa the salsa was gross la pura neta. But the michelada is bomb. The shrinp cocktail doesnt come in a presentation of a copa de vidrio like most restaraunts present their cocktel de camaron. Anywhere ive been to the cocktail de camaron includes aguacate here you have to pay a dollar extra it looks bad they should just make the shrimp cocktail a dollar extra on the menu and serve it with avacodo. Honestly what bugged me the most was the salsa y el cocktel de camaron en un plato de cereal. Total fail for my instagram photo :/​un cocktel de camaron en un restaraunt debe estar bien presentado en una copa de vidrio no chingaderas de plati de plastico de cereal but the conjunto there is cool! And the drinks are bomb!

Love this place! Karla and I come all the time and get the michelada and the molcajete.

I love this place. Favorite seafood in the 209. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 is because I did have one bad visit. Had a cocktail. Idk what they did but I had a hard time eating it. It was too sour and salty. But other than that. I’ve had nothing but good food.

Live music, good micheladas, good food, just wished they had better service. Need more servers on the weekends 3.6 stars I suppose

Good prices and good food, you cant go wrong. I drive up to Modesto once a month and always make sure I stop bye. I usually always order the ceviche tostadas and boy they are very good. Al estilo Sinaloa…

I spent 15 dollars for some nasty old shrimp. The shrimp were gross in color and taste I couldn’t swallow those slimy chewy shrimp. Not happy at all.

The sea food there is outstanding and if you’re not a big seafood person they have great tacos. They are large tacos stuffed with meat one of my favorite taco stops

Anythin I order here turns out delicious. Great service too

Dear truck driver for Mariscos Sinaloa,
Thank you for not slamming into my (old) Benz today in the Mission (SF) when the stupid hipster bicylcist thought he could cross in front of me faster than 30 mph, forcing me to slam my brakes not to hit his sorry ass. If there were no moral or social ramifications, trust that I would have happily hit him for sport.
If your food is anything as good as your driving skills, I’m a fan by default.

If your into Sinaloa style seafood then you will be pleasantly surprised with Mariscos Sinaloa. I have tried the Tostada Mixta, Coctel de Camarones, and seafood burrito. Was very satisfied with all of them. Food is authentic and everything was fresh. Waitress was friendly and helpful. This is definitely a place I want to return to.

My wife, son and I went there this Sunday for fathers day. We had great service and a very nice mix of people. They had a band playing Spanish music and people singing along (very fun). We didn’t know what to order so we ordered a bit of everything.

Chicken fajitas
Food was fantastic and we had a blast being in such a fun atmosphere!
