Best teriyaki chicken in the area. I drive from Ceres just for the chicken :) only good when fresh!

Yeah this area of town sucks, but you have to try the Fresh Cream filled bars!!! You have to ask for them, but they taste like heaven. I usually go on a Saturday morning and the guy behind the counter is usually pulling someone’s leg or telling a regular to help a lady carry a box out to her car. Awesome sense of humor.

I wanted to like this place, I really enjoy a good teriyaki bowl, but today I got a chicken beef combo The beef just tasted funny, and chewy. The chicken tasted like it’s been there and not fresh. The rice was bland not even a good rice. I only half of what I got and came down really sick after. I strongly recommend to stay away from this place. I did not try there donuts but it was about 3 pm when I went and they were fully stalked up and all there donuts just sitting out while u can see flys land and take off on all there products.

Decided to give this place a try for the first time. My husband and I were very disappointed. Bought a dozen and they all tasted old and stale. Ended up throwing them all out. Won’t be going back.

This part of town is getting really bad, I only went in there one time and flies were all in the donut case… It is really a gross place to eat… I never went back. I cannot eat anything that flies have crawled all over… The mission is right next door, be very careful if you go there at night. Not my cup of tea… lol

I don’t eat donuts much, but when I do, and I’m somewhat in the general vicinity at the time, Scotty’s Donuts is where I go. I haven’t tried the teriyaki bowls, or the drive through. The neighborhood does seem rough and I see interesting indigent folks rambling around the region, but they don’t bug me for anything, so no big deal. Quality donuts at reasonable prices and a friendly lady at the register. Works for me!

Scotty’s is like going to the circus only far more comical and dangerous. Where else in the world can you go to see homeless people, a panhandler, a crack dealer, a prostitute, buy a cheap Rolex, get some donuts, and eat teriyaki chicken all at the same time? If you’re there on one of the«special days» you may even get to see fireworks from the muzzle flash of a gun and police lights. What kid wouldn’t love that. Mommy can we go to Scotty’s? Please, pretty please with sugar on top. All kidding aside, the donuts are good but is it worth the hassle of dealing with the drama surrounding it? The chicken bowl I’ve not tried so I can’t comment on that. During the day I would keep one eye open at all times. At night you should probably avoid it altogether unless you’re packing heat and have an MMA belt. If you’ve never been here give it a try for the novelty then decide if risking your life for a cheap donut is really worth it. Tip: Be sure to play Too Short’s «The Ghetto» when you’re rolling on up to get your donut fix. It adds to the ambiance and lets others know you are Old Skool fabulous. Wednesdays are show your Glock 9 night and get a free dozen donuts of your choice.

Best cream filled donuts in town! Love coming here after a night out. Tonight their bearclaws were super fresh, mine was still warm from the fryer, awesome!

things in scotty’s favor:(or, «what exactly makes a doughnut five stars, anyway?») — 24 hours. sometimes you need doughnuts at 3a.m. — drive through. i’ve never used it, but you can! — blueberry old fashioned doughnuts. this is really the only reason i come here. they’re good enough to warrant a full review. take this to heart. — $ 7 for a dozen. i honestly don’t know if that’s cheap, but you can get a chicken bowl for the same price, and i appreciate the flexibility. things scotty’s wants you to know they’re sorry for: — rough location. easy to spot, but getting in to the parking lot can require a u-turn or two — rough location. welcome to the airport district! — rough location. but we’re pretty sure the new massage parlours are legit. — rough location. we’re gonna use this to cover the surly night workers too. they probably put up with a lot of shit, so i’m gonna give a pass when they grunt through my order without making eye contact. dude, they’re doughnuts. they’re always there. they’ve got blueberry. if you’re Unilocaling for doughnuts, you’re probably over-thinking this.

One of my favorite old haunts whenever I am down in the airport district. It’s one of those places you can stop in for a quick bite when you have the munchies. I never had the teriyaki bowls bc I’m always there too late. The egg rolls are on hit, and so are the doughnuts. Plus it’s right by the mission, so u get to watch the homeless ppl walking by…

We ventured out to the ghetto close to midnight because we wanted some doughnuts… It wasn’t the prettiest place but they had sugar coated ones(favorite). My roommate got an eggroll or something and said it was pretty good. As we were driving home, we saw another 24 hour place for doughnuts that looked much nicer. :/Next time. But yeah, go here and check it out. Warning: ugly parking lot & ghetto, ghetto, ghetto people.

Their donuts and chicken bowls are both excellent. I believe they are the cheapest in town for a dozen donuts and they are yummy. There chicken bowl is HUGE and very inexpensive! Call in your order ahead of time and then drive-thru to pick it up. Not in the best area and not a place you’d want to take date, but good food.
