Subway

Typical Subway. Not alot of meat. You have to pay for a decent amount. Extra ! Business is kept clean which make it a better Subway. But it’s just a subway where you are better off going to Togos or Deli Delicious.

Sandwiches are always consistent. The the price you can not beat it. Not a lot of meat but good fresh veggies.
Service today was exceptional thus why I am writing a review.

This subway is one of my favorite subways to stop by and eat fresh and healthy. The employees here are nice and friendly. My choice of sub is the buffalo chicken with lettuce bacon olives and pickles. And on top I add ranch too. They offer meal deals you get to add small bag of chips and a drink too. The cookies here are delicious too.

Bad service and gross food! Stale bread made for a nasty sub. Dirty tables as well. Will not be back.

We go here occasionally for a quick sandwich and they are just ok. But the other day we went there and one of the managers was the one who rung us up. Then she came out to wipe the tables and we noticed that she was wearing capris and flip flops. Flip flops at a food place??? I was disgusted by this. Not only is it gross but it has to be some sort of health code violation. So gross. I will not be going back. Someone call CAL-​OSHA.

I gave 2 stars for the nice new location and it was pretty clean except there was food on the ceiling near the lights!
I came here at 8:30pm, the hours listed on the door for closing time is I believe 9 or 10! My husband & I were picking out our sandwiches and my husband finished ordering his. He got a important phone call so he needed to take it and I was still deciding what I wanted on my sandwich. My husband asked me for a piece of paper and a pen and the employee wrapped up my sandwich!!! Ummm, ok… I turned back around and told him I wasn’t finished picking out what I wanted on my sandwich! I quickly seen he was getting annoyed with me trying to decide and he started «Tapping His Fingers» I advised him that I’m going to take my time now that you aren’t being patient with me LOL I started saying «hmmm, well I just don’t know what I want on my sandwich, such a hard decision, I told him mayo and then I said oh no never mind no mayo, hmm how about mustard, ok yeah I think I will have a little mayo!»
You know for a brand new location you would think the employees would be nice & patient. That kind of stuff really pisses me off!

I got the Turkey, avocado, Bacon and it was hella good

The salida subway is closer to my house but this subway rocks on service and sandwich prep. My hubby and I work long hours and if we have to eat fast food we go to subway because its WAY better than eating at any of the burger places. I get the same 3 sandwiches every time I go in. I never get any issue here on the amount of lettuce and tomato and avocado I want in my sandwich they know i will pay for it. When I order the same veggie delight anywhere else i get hassled about the quantities i want. It always amazes me that people will hassle over double lettuce. Really? its about 10 cents and I dont have cheese so take it out of that.
I love the service here. The lady who looks like she runs it (either that or she is just always there) is very friendly and remembers us when we come in. The store is the cleanest one in Modesto.

This has got to be the worse subway I’ve ever been to. Usually I don’t don’t write reviews about fast food or do I even eat at Subway’s often but I just had to let it be known and maybe the customer service can get better.
I was only in this town for business and trying to grab a quick sandwich for lunch later (sandwiches are an auditor’s default lunch). Anyways as I was telling the employee what I ingredients I wanted, she suddenly stopped to assist the customer behind me who JUST walked in and still deciding which sandwich he should get. Figuring he was a local, I initially did not mind the extra customer service being extended to him but after a few minutes of indecisiveness and my halfway done sandwich put on hold, I was getting annoyed that MY service was being interrupted. It’s one thing to be friendly to someone, but keep in mind Subway worker that there are OTHERS in this world that are busy with deadlines and don’t have time to wait around to hear your chit chats!

I have a Subway that is closer to my house, but I prefer to come to this one.
I’ve been here multiple times, and the food always tastes great. I normally get the Chicken and Bacon Ranch on Italian Herb and Cheese bread. The food always tastes just as good as it was the last time I was here.
The servers are very helpful, and unlike some of the other places here in Modesto, I have no problem understanding what they are saying. Even when it’s late, they will gladly open a new bag of vegetables for me so that I can have my spinach.
The best part about it, this is the only Subway in the area that I can find that has the raspberry cheesecake cookies!

Great location for starters. Good customer service and not shy about giving great portions on your sandwiches. There’s plenty of tables to eat at. Looked clean and very well kept up.

I had forgotten to bring something for a potluck birthday party and was running late, I needed to bring something but didn’t know the area well. After driving in circles I saw these huge balloons in front of subway so I ran in and told them my situation and asked if I could buy them– they hooked me up no problem– the girls at SJVC say thank you Subway! You guys rock!

This is my favorite Subway. I used to go to the one on Pelandale, but they started getting stingy with their meat and vegetables. I started to come to this one and I was amazed at how much mire veggies they throw on these sandwiches. I had to thank the owner for making such well served sandwiches.

I know what your thinking, you’ve been to one Subway eh you’ve been to em all. And while that is true, I always feel compelled to Unilocal when I get great customer service. There just isn’t enough out there these days. Not too mention great customer service by someone under the age of say 18 – 19. The Friday night employees in here were absolutely great! Super patient, I had two indecisive kids, and super friendly. They even gave us a bad bowl of soup, no noodles, and totally fixed it!.. Too bad we all come out stinking like they’re fresh baked bread, blegh!
