This place used to be good, not anymore. First off, this place is behind a railroad track with hobos and homeless panhandling while your ordering. Regardless, I used to still come here. Now that I’m older and reflect, I realize that the reason why I came here was because it was always 2am, getting out of the club, and when your drunk anything sounds good. Now that I’m older and sober, I dont go here anymore. I actually had to throw my burrito out the window last time… yah, it was that bad.

The carne asada is just so juicy and perfect. I never eat red meat, so when a lot of people recommended this spot to me I had to try it. I absolutely love it. The service is nice and the food is even better.

Of all the taco trucks in Modesto, and there are many in this town, this is the one I keep coming back to. Been coming to this taco truck for 10+ years and it has never failed to produce the best Mexican street food. The server is standard taco truck for the area. Prices are fair. The boy downside it the constant presence of pan handlers, a lot of which are fairly shady looking characters with arguably a less than reputable reputation. Not judging, just sayin. I’ve on a couple occasions witnessed some illegal drug use used in the waiting area and adjacent. It IS downtown Modesto after all. As I right this there is no sign of such characters, so maybe it’s a hit or miss. If you can handle these colorful people, this is a great place to get cheap, great food.

Very good food. Very slow service. Plus you spend the time waiting surrounded by flies and the home challenged.

I love this taco truck. The carne Asada quesadillas are huge, delicious, and come with a salad. The Carne Asada tacos are my favorite. There are a lot junkies and beggars around here but for the most part they don’t bother you. I’ve eaten here many many times and the food is always good. I never gotten sick. Just don’t touch anything and then grab your tacos with your bare hands! Best Taco truck in Modesto! Tacos are still $ 1, burrito $ 4, and quesadillas are up to $ 6.50 but they can feed 2! The ladies working here are very friendly if you are friendly to them!

Horrible, I mean ABSOLUTLYHORRIBLE Service … I drove all the way from the Bay Area to Modesto so I could try out this taco truck that everyone has been raving to me about … The place was stectchy from the moment I pulled up … There was a man, clearly not in his right mind, standing in front of this place licking stuff off of the ground and kissing the hoods of peoples cars … But once he wrapped up his make-out session with the Honda parked next to us we went against our better judgment and proceeded to order … They got our order completely wrong and refused to re-make it correctly(They wanted us to pay in full for them to make our food over) … After going back and forth with one of the women, who would roll her eyes that were harboring way to much make-up and periodically turn to speak to her co-worker in Spanish followed by the most annoying cackle, they made our food over … The food was mediocre at best, and thats me being nice … Not a fan, and I suggest this place to noone …

When I go to to taco trucks, I always get the same thing… Burrito Supreme, no rice and beans, light cheese and sour cream. This was absolute garbage… Couldnt figure out if I ordered carne asada, shredded beef, ground beef or a combo of all 3 … Meat was disgusting. Service was awful.

It’s great for a quick fix and there’s no question about this being the best taco truck on the street, but I’ve been going here for years back when the burritos were jst about 3 or 4 bucks! I could have sworn they were made bigger too. or maybe I was just smaller back in the day? lol. now it’s 5 – 6 for a super burrito! Crazy.

This is the only Taco truck I will go to! They have the best burritos and they are HUGE! I fed 3 adults and 2 children for $ 19.50 That was 3 Huge burritos and 4 tacos. Customer service was very warm and welcoming. I Will keep coming here until I see or taste otherwise. Always a satisfied customer

There’s also a location on Crowslanding, which I had originally checked in to & uploaded photos for, my bad. This location is the one near downtown by the tracks. I recommend the Carne Asada burritos, quesadillas, tacos & tostadas! I think that pretty much covers everything on the menu. I like to ask for the Carne Asada well-done. It’s not over cooked if you ask for it this way, so don’t worry. Some of the meat pieces will have charred edges, which makes the flavor of the meat even better! Open late. Covered outdoor seating. Cheap prices. Good food & salsa. Can’t go wrong!

WTF happen to Tacos Jessica?! The al pastor tacos looked like the street that they serve on. Meat looked like they shredded it in a blender.
