TNG Digital DJ Services

My husband and I can’t say enough how much we loved having TNG Digital DJ Services at our wedding. From day one, I knew we made the right choice in picking Dave and Cathy for their DJ services. Dave was always quick to reply to any email, text, or phone call. He is incredibly organized, punctual, and professional. and funny! Dave and Cathy not only took care of the music, they also helped keep the wedding on schedule and track — Dave told me he had my back and he did! What a stress free wedding I had! My husband and I weren’t the only ones who loved Dave… my dad can’t stop talking about our father-​daughter dance, our guests keeping telling us how awesome the DJ was, and the owner of the venue said she has never seen so many people out on the dance floor for a last dance. It was truly great working with Dave and Cathy, you absolutely won’t regret it… and if you’re worried about only 4 Unilocal reviews, go check out wedding wire!

The 1^st thing I want to mention is the awesome database and event planning system that Dave gives you to use. You get to pick the songs for every important part of the day and night… cake cutting, calling out ladies for flower toss, flower toss, entrance of wedding party, last song of the night… I have talked to tons of other couples and none of them got to choose so many important songs at the touch of a button. AWESOME!!! Ok, so, My wife and I hired DJ Dave and his wife for our wedding on 10÷12÷13 at the Evergreen Lodge in Yosemite. We were so incredibly happy with the services they provided. From the first day we hired him he was so professional, was on time for all of his meetings, and since we lived in different cities he set up phone meetings with us at our convenience. I will be 100% honest with you. I was concerned at first about having a DJ at all. I wanted absolutely no cheese and no blah blah on the microphone at my wedding. DJ Dave was very excited and talkative at the first meeting and he had tons of ideas, many of which I was not interested in. BUT! He was so receptive to my thoughts and my desires for my wedding. He ONLY cares about what YOU want. He has tons of ideas and extras that can make a splash if that’s what you want, but he will also thoughtfully consider YOUR vision and he will advise you that you should NEVER let any vendors force their visions on you. It’s YOUR day :) Seriously, we dealt with a lot of different vendors and got married near Yosemite where phones and internet aren’t always as accessibly as you would want in 2013 and Dave was BY FAR the most professional, accessible, and easy to deal with vendor we dealt with. And they are beyond reasonably priced!!!

I 100% recommend this DJ. Dave and his wife were so amazing to work with from day 1. When I first contacted them for a consultation, Dave was always so quick to reply to any emails I sent. After our consultation there was no doubt we were going to book them. Both so friendly and professional, not to mention affordable which is uncommon around this area! The wedding was still a year out, and throughout the year Dave would message me and make sure I was doing good, and see if I needed any assistance. He even took time off from his day job & made the hour long journey from where he lives to our venue for the rehearsal, unpaid. It was so incredibly thoughtful and it helped out so much to prepare for the actual wedding day! On the wedding day, they both showed up in full formal wear, even though it was 106 out that day! (And we had told them they didn’t need to when we realized how hot it was going to be) So professional. He was so kind and understanding the whole day and came up to my husband and I to make sure we were having a good time many times throughout the night. It was amazing! We truly appreciate everything Dave & his wife did for us, and we thank you tremendously!

My (now husband) and I selected TNG DJ services for our wedding in August of 2011. We were so pleased with the job that I felt it very important even now, seven months after the wedding, to come back and write a review to support the company.
Dave, the DJ, met with my husband and I initially to talk pricing and to explain the kinds of services he offered (which were numerous and impressive!) and we instantly felt like he was the person we could trust to provide the entertainment for our reception.
He was the perfect combination of involved and eager without being overwhelming or trying to steal the show. We explained very early on that we didn’t want an extremely hands on DJ who felt like the reception was a place for them to show off and party down at. Dave did a wonderful job of emceeing while adhering to our rules to stay away from the cheese and forced feeling many DJs seem to encompass.
We loved having the online planner so you could drag and drop songs that you had to have played and songs that you did not want played at all.
My husband and I had our first song picked out, and it was a very obscure indie rock song but Dave was able to find it and play it for us. He also helped choreograph the rest of the evening’s important songs and made selections for us that fit our personalities perfectly.
The set up of the DJ booth was perfect and the additions of lights & lasers really pleased our friends and family.
Dave was also approached by my father the night of the reception who had asked him to sneak in a special song for he and I while we were doing our father/​daughter dance and Dave accommodated his wish which was very special and important to both of us.
We were really very, very happy to have selected TNG and have referred them several times since the wedding.
