Willow Floral Design

We got married at Evergreen Lodge in Yosemite. Willow Floral Designs was on their vendor list, so we gave Elyse a call, and we were SO happy that we did! I had a phone conversation with Elyse before my (now) husband and I met her in person in Modesto. Through the phone conversations and meeting Elyse in person, we had a lot of confidence that our flowers were going to be amazing… and they were! I didn’t realize how well she got my «vision» until the flowers arrived at Evergreen on my wedding day. They were beyond perfect. The colorfulness, the tastefulness, just everything. She had done a number of weddings at Evergreen, so she was able to make a lot of great suggestions as well. She decorated the arch that would be the centerpiece of the ceremony… and to say that it was amazing would be an understatement. Everything was AMAZING and we thank you so much Elyse!!! P. S. So many people have told me how beautiful the flowers were!

Elyse is amazing to work with. She is dedicated to her work, knows what she is talking about and very flexible in making your wishes a reality. I loved that she immediately asked to see my Pinterest page before our first meeting so that she could begin to get an idea for my vision. She captured my vision perfectly and was very easy to work with. On the day of my wedding I didn’t even see her or her crew. They work behind the scenes well and everything seemed as if it just appeared. She did a great job and would I would recommend her for any upcoming event you may have.

I first met with Elyse over a year before our wedding date. I didn’t really know where to start, other than bringing pictures of my ideas. I wanted to use whites, ivory and greens. Elyse was very great at explaining flowers and giving ideas. She was prompt on getting a quote back to me the next week. She is very reasonable in price for the services provided. They were excellent. I decided to book her and was so happy I did. About 6 months later I decided that I wanted to have colors in my flowers and Elyse was so flexible. She met with me again and we went for a whole new look. Up until the day of the wedding Elyse was so patient and flexible with me about any changes I wanted to make. The wedding was everything I could imagine and more. My guests made so many comments on how beautiful the flowers were. The best thing was on the day of the wedding, Willow Floral Design set up everything on time and exactly how we planned. One less thing to worry about on the big day :)

Elyse was amazing from the start. We had another florist fall apart and were in a hurry to find someone awesome. A friend of a friend recommended Elyse and I am so glad! My husband had very particular wants and requests and she handled all of them with ease. He is in the industry and had specifics down to the particular species names, she found everything he wanted no problem. Two weeks before the wedding, my husband had another request that went along with a new idea. She added it to the order and delivered exactly what he wanted. She was prompt and the flowers were gorgeous!

Elyse was organized, thoughtful, and able to work within a budget. I really have no idea about floral design and didn’t have a strong sense of what I needed for my wedding. I showed her a hacky pinterest board and she worked magic from there. She came with ideas, recommendations, and things turned out beautiful.
Loved her attention to detail. The day of, she made everything look fantastic. We got complements left and right. Highly recommend.

Elyse and her team are true experts! Elyse literally read my mind in regards to the vision I had for my wedding reception and bouquets. She is a pleasure to work with and such an artist with flowers. When she brought my bouquet into the hotel room the morning of my wedding, it was more beautiful than I could imagine, and the reception venue was no exception.

Elyse did an amazing job for my wedding last March! Going into wedding planning, I didn’t know much about flowers… but Elyse executed my vision brilliantly (despite my inability to articulate the type of flowers I liked). She also was sensitive to my budget and really worked with me which I appreciated. On the day of, I was completely impressed! Everything was gorgeous and tasteful! I received many compliments from my guests! Would use her again and I’ve already recommend her to others!

Working with Elyse was great! She was able to do everything I wanted within my budget and everything looked fantastic. She was very responsive to emails which was crucial since I was planning my Northern California wedding from my home in Dallas. She was very patient with me as I sometimes changed my mind on different flowers and wanted to add different elements. I would definitely recommend Willow Flower Design.

Elyse was our florist for our June 2012 wedding. She was so professional and responsive. I asked her a lot of questions and she was patient enough to make sure I was comfortable with the flowers and plan. The flowers and bouquet were more beautiful than I expected and exactly as I pictured them. I think it’s a testament to how well Elyse listened and translated my garbled communication into my vision! She travelled about 3 hours to our wedding and was very flexible. She also worked within our budget without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Out of all my top-​notch wedding vendors, Elyse was the best. From our first phone call, I noticed her professionalism, organization and attention to detail. When I told her my relatively small budget, she didn’t flinch and actually made all my requests a reality despite the budget limitation.
We exchanged many emails to discuss everything, and she took note of each little detail and minor change we made. I was truly impressed with her organization. She even made sure we had the right color for the ribbon on our bride and groom chairs during the wedding ceremony!
I live in NY but came to visit our wedding venue in St. Helena a couple months before the wedding. Elyse made it a point to drive 4 hours round-​trip just to meet us for 1 hour so that she could familiarize herself with the venue and meet our coordinator. At that point, she even proactively suggested that one of the centerpiece arrangements we had chosen initially may not fit the setting; she suggested a different one that was perfect.
On the day of the wedding, I came out for pictures around 1:30 pm to find that she had set up everything without so much as a minor question for me. I loved that she was able to make the executive decisions on the day of and work with the venue to get everything done without needing to check with me. That is how professional and on top of things she is!
I am positive that you will not find a better florist in the Bay Area!

Elyse and her team are tremendous. From start to finish working with her, I was blown away by her creativity, organization and professionalism. She is willing to go the extra mile and make sure the client is completely satisfied.
I recently got married in the Bay Area and used Willow Floral Design. EVERYTHING was perfect and the flowers were unbelievable. Everyone commented on how beautiful they were and made everything that much more uplifting. She was willing to travel, pick up the pots and flowers at midnight and worked flawlessly with the club and other vendors to achieve our dream wedding.
I would highly recommend using WFD on any small or large scale event again, knowing that it would end up being stunning.
