We really liked our stay because it was special to have a room 50 feet from the Merced River! Beautiful! The room had a fully stocked kitchenette and a big jetted tub. Four stars because the room is a little older(pink tiles in the bathroom) but everything was clean and the staff is awesome. And that river… ahhh. I loved sitting on our porch just watching the water. and the raccoon friend that waddled past late at night. The grandkids loved that! There is a wonderful grocery/gift shop. We didn’t go to the restaurant or pizza parlor onsite. The Lodge is very close to the entrance to Yosemite so we will be back next year and will stay longer next time.

It was terrible. There were ants everywhere in the room even on the pillows and sheets. They are renovating the lobby but really should be concerned with the lack hygiene and ant infestation in the rooms. All facilities are outdated and some even rusty. Our toilet tank leaked and the room smelled of mold. Terrible.

Every outdoor spa was padlocked shut, although this was not mentioned to us at check in. We relocated to the indoor spa/hot tub, where the chlorine and other chemicals were so strong that my entire group of girl friends had to get up and leave due to our eyes & noses burning badly. I have never been in a spa area that caused me to experience such a terrible reaction(as well as my 6 friends). The room was average, leaky shower. The offseason rates are much better than the summer rates. The view of the river is nice if you can manage to see above the high railing of the floor level rooms.

We stay there every New Years, and it’s a fine place to stay. However, we travel a lot, and this is the only place I know of that charges $ 10 a day for WiFi PERDEVICE! That’s why I downgraded it by 2 stars, I think that’s a ridiculous charge.

Bei unserer Kalifornien Rundreise verbrachten wir eine Nacht in der Yosemite View Lodge. Wir hatten hier eines der größten und schönsten Zimmer der gesamten Reise. Sogar ein Kamin hat nicht gefehlt. (Siehe Foto unten)(Siehe Foto unten) Schade, dass wie nur einen Tag hier bleiben konnten. Auf dem weitläufigen Gelände befinden sich auch zwei hoteleigene Pools. Direkt neben der Rezeption befand sich ein Souvenirshop. (Siehe Foto unten)(Siehe Foto unten) Die Inneneinrichtung passt sehr gut zu dieser traumhafen Gegend. (Siehe Foto unten)(Siehe Foto unten) Gefrühstückt haben wir auf dem Balkon. Nicht alleine, sondern mit 2 Eichhörnchen und einem kleinen Waschbär. Das haben wir auch noch nicht erlebt. (Siehe Foto unten) Mit Blick auf den vorbeirauschenden Fluss. Unbedingt ein Zimmer mit River View buchen. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
