Awful coffee and specially the special meal of the day is the worst one! breakfast is ughhhhh, the eggs smell so bad, the gravy is also smelly, biscuit is not bad. Lunch is another story! It means stomachache. When it is panini, the bread is so though and burned! When it is burrito the meet is awful everything is awful! you will get sick if you eat here.
I had a bad experience! I got sick… I think they need to use a better quality ingredient and increase the price! We would like to pay more but eat a better food, and bring a real chef a person who know how to cook.
Also, when you buy pizza and put them there, do not let them burned. I wish we had another café inside Ames.
Nice gyzzz. If you want to grow your business, change everything, bring FRESH food, buy good ingredient and bring a good cheff! or make a buffett, and charge for like $ 8. Make some changes, you will loose all of your customers with the way you are doing your business. last time I picked some ketchup and when I opened it it was dry! I don’t know how many days they were keeping those ketchup. I think they need to have responsible and caring people, this little café could be so good if they knew how to run.

Mon-​Fri 7 am — 1:30 pm they close order at 1:30!

I work in the NASA research park, and this is my go-​to place for lunch. It’s not fancy and has that cafeteria air to it, but the food is good, the staff is friendly, and the price is good.
The best part for a regular like me is that their specials always change. Except for Wed and Fri (Mexican and Panini days) I’ve never seen the special repeat. Always something new, from South American tri-​tip and yucca fries to Japanese tonkatsu. The quality varies, but it’s never been bad, and at best very good. The grill special is on a weekly rotation, and has some good stuff as well. Love their homemade potato chips!
