I have been to Chase Park many times, for picnics, softball games and post-softball game BBQs. Lots of fun, friendships made, bonding and good memories created here! I almost attended a wedding here, just to see what it would be like, but it was my friend’s friend’s wedding, and I would have a been a wedding crasher! Reservations for use of the park are made using an easy to complete form. Chase Park is located at Moffett Field on the NASA Research Park. Chase Park is available for use by NASA civil servants, contractors, Ames Research Center resident agencies, and other federal groups with appropriate sponsorship for free. The use of Chase Park is by reservation only. Reservations for Chase Park do not include the use of the baseball diamonds. Reservations for the diamonds is made through the NASA Softball League POC. The diamonds are only available Friday through Sunday. They are available in two-hour increments with a maximum reservation time of four hours. Using the park includes agreement to some basic(common decency) guidelines: The use of Chase Park is a free service – organizations that do not appropriately care for the park may be charged for cleaning and/or damages. Users are responsible for leaving the park cleaner than they found it. * All trash must be picked up — trash bags should be placed into the dumpster * Please use recycling bins as appropriate * Countertops, sinks and tables should be wiped clean * Grills should be scraped clean * Hot coals should not be left unattended * When you are done cooking, wet the coals with water and leave them to cool completely(the next user is responsible for removing used coals and placing them in the dumpster)
