Wife and I had Valentine’s Day specials which consisted of 14oz strip steak and a shrimp and scallops. Dinner was awesome, food presentation was first class all the way. Waitress Tiffany was knowledgable with the offerings. Hats off to the chef! A must do when roaming in Mogadore, or your bored in Mogadore.

Went the Clay Oven last night, first time. Waitress was not friendly or attentive. I was told the Filet special was $ 22 but was charged $ 26. Food took over an hour and my wife’s Stromboli was very burned. Waitress didn’t ask if we wanted it, I had to ask her to take it back. Her comment was that the over had been on since 1:30 and was too hot.
Won’t be going back.

Drove about 30 minutes to try this place out. Took our family of 5 including 3 young kids. We thought the food was great… except the pizza sauce. Sadly that’s a huge part of the flavor. It’s a personal preference thing and we just don’t love sweet tomato paste style sauce. I wish they had a sauce option of something more light and fresh. Something you would more typically see on a wood fired pizza. Anyway, the food was fresh and great quality, the dough was great, toppings, salad, veggie sides all fantastic. The restaurant was nice and clean, wait staff was nice and attentive, owner came and chatted with us which was nice to see. Want to go back, but not worth the drive for that sauce.

I bought a takeout pizza with pepperoni and sausageThe red sauce was awesome, the sausage and pepperoni were fabulous, and the crust was delicious. The only negative critic I have is the crust was a little too chewy for me at the edges. I would think that a great pizza wouldn’t make me work that hard to chew the crust. (This rating is based on a comparison with the quality of other establishments that sell pizza in the area and what you might expect from a place hat sells pizza in this vicinity.)

We had the bruschetta and the sausage stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer and the margherita pizza for our main course. Everything was fabulous. Tasted like NYC but with Ohio prices. Great, clean atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon!

Ordered a to go pizza got there payed for my order then 5 mins after i paid for my to go order they made my order. 20 minute quoted time i got my pizza 45 mintiue later. Calling in an order is a waste of time.

Another visit… another great pizza! This experience was just as good. The timing of everything was great. I left FULL and happy. The new peach cobbler with a pumpkin whipped topping was a new finish. A warm desert which taste was just rich enough but not TOO rich. Very moist yet still had great texture… Definitely a personal winner for me. Of course…2 Yuengling spaced nicely as an adult beverage needs no endorsements. Ciao.

Back to add the half chicken dinner is a must have! Had it with a salad with house made cider mill dressing and cheese polenta. So good!

The clay oven is my favorite restaurant of all time. Delicious bruchetta. Lasagna is so delicious. Bacon Brussels are the best Brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. Stromboli is cooked just perfect, with anything you desire. My favorite pizza is the bruchetta pizza. I absolutely love the food, and the atmosphere and the people who work at the Clay oven are so friendly. Family owned and operated. I can’t put into words how wonderful this restaurant is. I’m so glad it’s a few blocks from my house. I’m so grateful!

Great food and service. Absolutely recommend trying this place out. Best clay oven style food East of the Mississippi.
