Erika is a genius with hair. The first time I met Erika I was brought by a coworker who would not go anywhere else. We went to her makeover/makeup party & I talked with Erika about my frustration with my hair growing out. Just by talking to her it was evident that she knew exactly what she was doing so I made an appointment for the next day(she accommodated me because I was really excited). Needless to say I got the best haircut I’d ever had. Now 6 months later I have since moved from the area but I travel every month to Erika’s because I will not let anyone else touch my hair. I will admit because of the distance it is sometimes hard to get to Erika’s in between cuts so I have cut my own hair before & then needed an emergency appointment for her to fix it. This last time I butchered my bangs & amazingly I walked out with a perfect haircut. There is no one better than Erika & it’s also worth noting that the staff & the conversation that goes on in the salon makes you want to be there even more. I definitely recommend Erika & her salon she is the best!

LOVE! First time here, followed my hair dresser of 6 years here(Jen) and i couldn’t be happier. Such a cute, welcoming place and everyone is so down to earth and really great at what they do. Not sure why there are any negative reviews, but my guess is those people don’t work here anymore because it couldn’t be farther from the truth. There is a lot to stay for a smaller hard working salon and I am definitely a fan! For highlights(specifically for me blonde or ombré) Jen is your girl!

At the age of 45 I now have to deal with adult cystic acne. Tried all the lotions and potions from the dermatologist and they worked, but not well. About a year ago, I decided to try a series of glycolic peels for the acne at Erika’s since she already does my hair beautifully. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I still have the occasional breakout but they are much less not to mention my skin is so smooth and my makeup looks awesome. I’m now getting a combination of microdermabrasion and a mild peel. This by far has been the best combination for my skin as well as the Glo product line. Had another one yesterday! If you’re looking for dim lighting and spa music, this probably isn’t your place but if you’re looking for medical grade skin treatments, Erika’s is a place you should try.

STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!!! In September 2014 I took my daughter to this salon, my daughter wanted a brazilian blow out and my friend said they had reasonable prices for the brazilian blowout. My friend was clear I was to have Erika do my daughters hair, but as turned out one of her«assistants» worked on my daughter. When I questioned her expirience, Erika said not to worry. First of all they were so disoganized, We came for a «consult» and the place was empty, but they kept saying they were so busy. After the«consult» I offered to come a different day because they were so «busy»(still I didn’t see anyone in the shop) but they said they can do her hair that day so we stayed and got my daughters hair done. They applied the brazilian blowout product and they proceeded to blow out my daughters hair in a way I have never seen before. They took a big paddle brush and brushed her hair like he hair was just getting air dried. Some how when they were done her hair was not frizzie. But a week later when my daughter washed her hair she looked like a chia pet. I was so upset, I knew immediately it had to do with how they blow dried her hair. I called the shop several times trying to get a hold of Erika, she asked me to come in and it was all a sherade. She had no intention on making things right. She started to twist what I was explaining to her about my daughters hair and addressed me as if I was some ignorant person who knew nothing about hair. Erika did not make it right, and the girl she has there doing hair sucks and does not have a clue wha the hell she is doing. I also saw some poor young girl getting highlights on her hair. Erika left them in for 10 minutes and then tried to convince the girl that the highlight were there and that she purposely made them light. I say don’t walk RUN, RUN as fast as you can away from this place. I wouldn’t even bring my dog to this place to get a shampoo.

I’ve been going to Erika’s since she was in Ossining. I used to have to go to a person’s house and have them use a hot comb on my hair. Now I take my boys. My youngest truly cannot handle haircuts/washes or anything that has to do with his head. Erika works with him till that last strand has been cut. Some days are better than most but that will not stop her trying to get the hair out of his eyes or ears. I have had facial, massages pedicures and she took care of my wedding party. Everyone was so beautiful. I would not know what I would without Erika’s Spa.

I went to Erika at the suggestion of a close friend. I had a terrible cut and color that had left me in tears. Erika spent over 3 hours talking me through fixing it and offering suggestions. I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. Over the past two years I have had massages, facials, you name it and I loved it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be around! You can’t go wrong here.

I was cleaning out a drawer and came across an old gift certificate from this salon. My visit here was a horrible experience! A friend bought a «gift certificate» from here which promised a fine selection of services on four separate visits for discounter rates. For my first visit I decided to have my hair highlighted, cut and blow-dried. OMG i had no idea what I was in for! The stylist that worked on my hair did not seem confident and could not make a decision on her own. Ultimately the owner told her what to do and what formula she should use to properly hi-light my hair. The stylist foiled my hair and after the appropriate amount of time, she removed the foils and rinsed my hair. When she removed the towel I was shocked! My hair was the total range of sherbet! Pink, orange, yellow… I was horrofied! The owner said oh that came out well, don’t worry when it dries it will look better. I held my breath and tried to believe that it was true… It was not! After my hair was partly dry owner came over and said«now doesn’t that look better?» At which time i proclaimed” IT’S orange!”. The moment the owner realized i was dissatisfied she ran and got what i think was towner and started working it into my hair. In the end i could not wait to get out of there. Yes i paid and left. My hair was yellow. My whole head!!! I could not believe that i had to go to work looking like this! My hair by the way is a dark brown. Not happy at all. There brochure said you would get a complementary drink with all services. They asked me if i wanted a glass of water and served it to me in a plastic cup… Need i say more! To be fair here my experience was a few years ago but these things stay with you. There brochure made them sound so professional, experienced and promised you the world. My friend spent 40 dollars on the gift certificate which promised many discounts. Not only had i paid for my disaster but my friend spent 40 dollars(aproxiimatly) on the certificate. I was due 3 more visits at a discounted rate — yea … No!
