Its a perfect Farmers Market and get to pick your on fruit perfect place for families and when you just want fresh fruit. Everyone there is super nice and are willing to help you with anything. Also they have fruit samples in the market of the fresh fruit that have been already picked. My brother and his girlfriend are health people so when i found this market they were all for it! Its a cheap market, you can get alot of fruit for under 20 dollars. So we will definitely be coming back on our next road trip!

This place is the boss when it comes to PYO. For years we passed their little sign on 625 heading towards Shady Maple(moment of silence as I bow in honor to the temple of eating) but never stopped until today that is when instead of doing«Da Shade» we went here. They’re located just east of nowhere in Mohnton. The good thing at least is that coming off of 625 they have a lot of road signs that lead you right to their store and to the fields. When you get there you can either shop for items in their store or you can go out into their fields for PYO. The store has everything from homemade pies made from their own fruit, fruit baskets, slushies made from their fruit along with cartons of everything that is currently ripe for picking and more. But the Pièce de résistance is the ability to PYO: Strawberries May-June Red Raspberries June-October Black Raspberries June-July Blackberries July-October Peaches July-September Nectarines July-September Apples August-November Pumpkins September-October Simply stop by the store and either they’ll weight your container or they’ll give you one of theirs, simply ask where to go and start hiking out to the orchards and pick, pick, pick, pick. We came about a half hour before closing on Saturday and we had the place to ourselves. Even with that limited amount of time we still found a way to score a little bit north of $ 30 in peaches, blackberries and raspberries. Sure it’s a bit of a hike but the place is immaculate, the staff is very friendly and the fruit looks along with most importantly tastes top notch. If you plan on being a frequent customer you can sign up for their email list and they’ll send you reminders about what’s in season along with the occasional coupon. They also have a loyalty dork card that after purchasing 30 pounds entitles you to their lowest pricing. A+ experience all around.
