Jack In the Box

Good to go. Jack rocks.

Piss poor excuse for a Jack in the box. Ordered chicken teriyaki meal it had 2 thin slices of chicken also aske for sauce on the it was never added to the tray the egg roll was burnt. Not a good place to stop and eat.

You’re getting jack in the box. This one has great customer service. Nice ladies behind the counter!!! Keep it up!

We travel through Mojave 2 – 3 times a week. This restaurant is our ½ way point. We eat here because… The evening crew is awesome. They treat us very well. They go out of their way to make sure to make our trip easier. The food is always fresh. They make sure the restaurant is clean. And we’ve watched how they treat their other customers. Its always the same great service they give us… will always recommend it…

Let me start by saying that this JITB is no worse or no better then any other JITB as far as the food is concerned. They all get the same supplies and are required to make the food the same way as all the rest. So what sets ine apart is the people and the service. This one is average as far as that goes. With that being said I have always liked their monster tacos so when I saw they had 2 new ones I wanted to try them. Deb got the bacon ranch version and I got the nacho version. We sampled each others tacos. We both agree the nacho one is better. It has the normal taco meat with copious amounts of gooey warm nacho cheese and jalapeños. Very yummy. The bacon ranch one has taco meat, bacon lettuce and ranch dressing. Its good but no where near as good as the nacho one. So would I come back for either one of them versus the normal taco? You betcha I would. Very worth a stop to get one… or two.

Computer takes your order and employees get it right. Easy enough. Plus, they were friendly, too. Plus, you’re in the middle of no where and they still have a smile on their face. Kudos.

Docked one star for broken kiosk. Another star docked because they made the wrong order for the guy ahead of me and didn’t bother to check that they gave him a small sandwich when he ordered a large meal. Docked a third star because they gave my friend an iced tea with cream instead of hot coffee. Docked them a fourth star because they gave me a bag of utensils and napkins with maple syrup spilled all over them. I would give them zero stars if I could. Come here if you are feeling lucky enough to win the lottery or like playing Russian Roulette as those may be the only way to get your order right — wishful thinking. Then again they could just be new people or shortstaffed but given the 1.5 stars as their current average I really doubt that!

All I can say is ghetto!!! These Chics that work here seriously lack social skills. My friend and I were missing a item from our order so we went back and told them so the ghetto night manager walks out and yells at me stating I am lying because she knows it’s there. Seriously people I am not trying to scam u out of a freaking egg roll.

Yeah, no. Service was terrible. You should probably just go somewhere down the street.

A vanilla iced coffee with ½ ice does not = regular iced coffee with a full cup of ice

I ought to be able to put 0 stars. Well that’s what I would rate. Jack in the Box has some good food but this particular location was really stupid. We got there late so only the drive through was open. My friend who was driving had a bunch of coupons, but the peon who was taking our order said we could only use one of them, and if we were to use the other coupons we’d have to drive around and order again. How idiotic is that? My friend wanted to speak to the manager then decided he was fed up and drove on up, then flipped off the window as we drove through and ended up going to Burger King up the street, which DID allow the use of more than one coupon for our group.

Nice from the outside, but the bathrooms are dirty, they do not work, hot water and no good service, I like workers and have a smile on their face but heck its jack in the crack.

Ok, I questioned if reviewing a fast food joint was even Unilocal worthy, but then I decided of course it is. Fast food joints need feedback too.
Well the secret (well for those who don’t know we that well, everyone else will not be surprised by this statement) is out. I go to Jack In The Box and not because it is somewhere to get a coke and something to eat. I actually seek Jack In The Box out when I’m in CA visiting friends. As bad for me as they may be, I love Jack In the Box tacos. JITB tacos are an acquired taste I will admit, but I am one of those people who adore them and can eat a lot of them in one sitting.
So how excited was I when on my last trip to CA on our way home from Mammoth, we had to stop for something to eat and our only options were fast food. Nobody wanted to make a decision on where to eat (they’ll never do that again) so I picked Jack In The Box.
Now I went into the restaurant with low expectations. I am under no illusion the food here is great. But this particular Jack In The Box managed to disappoint me even with low expectations. The lady behind the counter was rude, the soda machine was out of Root Beer both up front and in the back and they made no apologies about it, and it took forever to get our food even though nobody was in there. The bathrooms weren’t real clean either.
I know working in a fast food restaurant isn’t the greatest of jobs, but if you are going to do it «be all you can be». Who knows you work hard and put a smile on your face and have pride in your work environment you may own the joint one day. Stranger things have happened.
I did not give this one star because it is a fast food place. I gave tis one star because the overall experience sucked.
BTW, my tacos were yummy!
