Carol and Julian are wonderful people. They were very forthright, loving and eager to help when we had to find a home for the goats on our property. The promptly drove from Mojave to Ventura and to give our goats a safe haven and loving home. Their love for animals shows in their personality. Thank you!

I love these guys. You won’t be able to buy goat cheese at the store after you try this stuff. Delicious. I make a special trip to the Montrose market just to get my cheese every other week. The fresh is my favorite, but their specialty flavors are out of this world. Staff is super nice, to boot.

I buy this goat cheese from my farmer’s market. The people are so nice and the cheese is SO good. The lemon and lavender is to die for.

What a find!!! Guilt-free cheese(male goats are rented out as lawnmowers instead of killed) that’s one of the most delicious things you’ve ever tasted.

Soledad Goats is a no-kill goat rescue out of Mojave that produces pretty much the best goat cheese available, and then sells it at Farmer’s Markets. I’ve bought several different types at the Torrance Farmers Market and have never been disappointed. They make creamy style goat cheese in different flavors including garlic and herb, cucumber and spring onion(my fave), lemon and lavender, port wine, jalepeno, etc. as well as jars of goat cheese packed in olive oil. The prices are higher than you would pay at say, Trader Joe’s, but the quality is very much worth the price. Two packages for $ 10 or one for $ 6. They also sell goat yogurt which is good(although I like the goat cheese better). The owner is very friendly, customer-service oriented, and generous in her samples at the farmer’s market. I would highly recommend this company and their products.

I happened on a vendor at the Lancaster farmers market. Their cheese is so fresh and delicious we made a special trip out to Mojave to buy direct from them! Julian and Carol are the owners and they have such an amazing, humane operation. One of the only two licensed goat farms in California, they have such a clean product I highly recommend getting your hands on some of this quality product. They not only have fresh cheese, they also have wonderful aged and smoked cheddar. Delicious!

Today I discovered Soledad Goats goat cheese at the Irvine Farmers Market. I bought a tub of their Italian style and I just love it! It’s super fresh and full of herbs and spices. Don’t pass these smiley ladies by when they ask if you want to try a sample. It’s good stuff!
