We went this last Saturday right when they opened at noon. Was three of us girls. We sat outside. The lady serving us was very nice. The wines are DELICIOUS! I had the white flight with the exception of tasting the Malbec. YUM! Im primarily a red wine drinker but summertime makes me want whites. Everything we had was great and we recieved excellent service. We ever took a walk down to the lake. I will look forward to going back and drinking more of there reds.

Lovely wines (whites and reds alike), friendly owner, serene locale. Everything I need. Bring a picnic if the weather’s right; you’ll be encouraged to relax on the property!

Nice laid back tasting experience in a bucolic setting. They only make 2500 – 3000 cases per year. Loved the Bubela’s Blend & the Malbec.

Stopped by on a whim. We were surprised by the quality of wine. Bought two cases: 2008 Riesling and 2008 Guwurtz. Best Riesling I’ve tasted in 5 years. Definitely warrants a visit if you are near Portland.

Pinot Noir — Burgundian in style but with exaggerated tannin, beautiful color through and through, true to the fruit, really a beautiful sipping wine. Picnic area outside allows for a pleasant tasting experience.
Rest of the wines — harsh acidity, poor color, super dry, unremarkable.

Slightly off the beaten path but well worth the drive! Anita poured a wonderful selection of wines for us in her comfortable tasting room. Their wines are really good, with the Bubela’s Blend being our fav with just a hint of bubbliness to it. The pinots are quality too but I have found the white wines to be exceptional on that side of the valley. From the tasting room, one can see several peaks as you sip wines in Riedel Oregon pinot glasses. They regularly offer entertainment, at least during the summer and fall, but we visited on a quiet day with no other tasters present. We will be back to attend an event and enjoy their delicious wines again.
