Great food, friendly people, good service, & a great overall dining experience!

This place is great! The meats are all great and they have really good sauces. It’s a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

This was the first time visiting this location. When we are in the QC visiting, we always went to the Davenport location, but now it is closed so we tried this location. First thing I noticed is it is considerably smaller than the Davenport location was. However, the food quality here is much better and the service was far more better as well. For a franchised BBQ place, the food here is really good. I am a Kansas City native, so BBQ is in my blood and although this place isn’t «out of this world» good, it really is good. Kids eat free on Sunday and they have free ice cream as well. The prices are a tad on the high side in my opinion. Great iced tea, great beans, great meats, with great service! Definitely worth repeated visits.

Let’s start with the positives:
–Service is always friendly
–They have waffle fries
–Their baked beans are great
The negatives:
–CRAZY expensive.
–BBQ sauce is good not great
–Meat is average, best is the chopped beef brisket.
–Oh and its VERY expensive
Unfortunately, the QC isn’t blessed with great BBQ places, so sometimes this place will have to suffice.

Best BBQ in town! Thursday lunch special 1 – 3 times a month if I am in the area… Spicy sausage, pulled pork, waffle fries, jalapeño beans & Dr. Pepper! Game Over, 10 out of 10, I love this place! Their spicy BBQ sauce is top shelf! Under $ 10 and Free ice cream, how can you beat that? Staff is very nice and personable!

Our first time here, definitely not the last! The food was delicious… it even got the approval of my 8 and 9 year old! It was a Lil pricey for the four of us, but alot of food for the money! Very clean and the staff/​owner were incredibly nice.

There is a reason this location has endured while the other two in the area failed. There is a consistency to the quality of service and food that (perhaps sadly) far surpasses any other barbecue restaurant in this area. The ribs are great and the pulled pork, which i have more than once had as the monday special, is excellent. The sauce is a nice mix of tangy, hot, and sweet and my only complaint is fighting the avenue traffic to turn into the lot.

Not bad! I’ve had a few different items from here, and so far I have not been disappointed. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful! Always leave full, as they out plenty of food on the tray.

Our first time here was horrible. The food was over cooked, beans tasted spoiled, burnt rubber meat and at dinner time we were the only ones in the place. A month later we tried it again thinking that things have improved. No No, The pulled pork was over cooked and dried out the BBQ sauce is so thin and without any flavor. Things have not changed This is the worst Barbecue place we have ever been to. This is in the former KFC building. The bathroom is filthy!!! I am sorry for leaving a bad review but it is so true.

If you like burnt ribs then go to this horrible place! Everytime I’ve went there, they’ve burnt their ribs. The sides are nasty, baked beans tasted sour. It’s not worth the expensive price to eat there yucky food!!!

Pretty good for quick barbeque dinner. Pulled pork sandwich good with two sides and a drink was under $ 10. Would eat here again.

Service was fair at best. Food was not very good. Pork was dry and had very little taste. They are closed now but are saying they will reopen in january…
