When you come to the quad cities this is a must stop. This place has it own factory in town which makes all of it ice cream and you can taste the quality of the product. Plus they also do sugar free and yogurt.

5 stars… Disclaimer: I grew up with this ice cream, so my opinion may be slightly skewed… But I believe Cows would be proud of what this joint does with the byproducts of their life’s work! Over the years I have tried many combinations and flavors but keep coming back to the turtle shake. Vanilla ice cream with butterscotch and hot fudge blended with pecans… then the whole shebang is topped with more roasted salted pecans… Delicious! My wife had the peppermint Oreo on a sugar cone and she was thoroughly impressed! Prices are slightly high and ambiance is hospital meets candy shop. Oh yes, we will surely be back many, many times… This joint was on the list before there ever was a list, and I have never been disappointed with a single penny spent here.

No complaints about the product, their customer service sucks. A few years ago, it seemed every store I went to, the employees didn’t want to come out from the back. One even stood at the door to the back room, knowing I was there and still didn’t come out. I emailed corporate and received no reply, so that told me what they thought of their customers. I refuse to go back.

So so delicious! They also give a 10% discount to Augustana College students with an ID. Cheap and great ice cream

A guy in my training class recommended this place and I see why. Brownie under with right amount of toppings… yum. That was my dessert before dinner.

Whitey’s is a quad cities tradition. It’s probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had. If you’re coming, expect to wait because it’s no secret how amazing it is. I love graham central station but they have so, so, so many other interesting flavors as well.

My roommates love Whitey’s! They brought us some pumpkin when it was in season… yummy! I had the coconut joy and the praline pecan. Mmm! So many flavors to choose from and the employees are glad to help you out and give you a taste. Sad they don’t have these in Illinois): Also wish there was music! It’d really liven up the place.

Best Ice Cream you will ever have ! I’m an ice cream freak. Store is always Clean and the staff is always friendly. Never been disappointed. I will have them ship out ice cream to my friends across the country and who are stationed over seas that request it. I wish I could put 6 stars on this.

Three words: Oreo Cookie Malt. I’m a malt freak, and this is my favorite. I’ve l lived here my whole life and there is no better ice cream and delicious flavors. I have to say one thing, though. For a turtle sundae, I go to Dairy Queen.

Best ice cream you’ll ever have. I recommend shakes or malts. Beats Country Style and others like Oberwise. Puts them to shame. A great treat and a must have in the Quad Cities.

They used to have an ice cream called Peanut Butter Cookie Fudge and every time I come into town I hope it’s back! My favorites now are Sgt Camo and Graham Central Station. Good look trying to go in the summer time. There’s a line April-December. :-)

I grew up eating ice cream at Whiteys and I have never once been disappointed. I always get the bubble gum and it is so delicious and always consistent. The employees are quick and efficient and always very friendly. I always make sure to stop here when I’m in the quad cities!

We were on an Ice Cream Tour last Sunday and stopped into Whitey’s I had a scoop of the No-Tella and it was creamy, delicious something I would drive 4 hours to have again. My husband had Sugar free moose tracks and thoroughly enjoyed it! We loved that the kids behind the counter were helpful, nice and happy to take a picture with us. and if you’re stopping in Moline only another 25 minutes to the Wilton Candy Kitchen in Wilton, IL for pair of exceptional experiences and wonderful ice cream! We WILL be back, this is so worth the trip.

Ice cream is God’s way of saying«I’m sorry the world is so f-ed up. Eat this. You’ll feel better.» Thanks, God. There are a couple iconic places you have to eat at when you’re in the Moline area, one being Whitey’s and the other Made-Rite. The ice cream malts at Whitey’s are epic – they are made with fresh ingredients, they are bursting with flavor, and they are so thick you can put a spoon in them and it’ll stand up straighter than R. Kelly with an underage girl. My favorite is requesting a specialty blend of coffee icecream and hot fudge icecream with double malt powder. Yum. Thanks, God.

Best vanilla ice cream I ever had. They have dozens of flavors of real ice cream. My husband loved his strawberry with the big pieces of fruit in it. You don’t want to miss Whitey’s if you like ice cream. Anything else will taste like air.

If you are in the Quad Cities, Whitey’s is a must! I went outside the box this visit and had the Pineapple Upsidedown Cakeshake. It tasted just like that cake. Delicious! The only problem was the cherries in it could not fit through the straw. I will of course come back!

Wow, when Whitey’s came up in conversation, the Moline locals insisted we had to go whole while were in town. I’d never heard of it before, but we were obviously intrigued. We stopped in after dark and it was, no lie, the brightest place I’ve ever been into. The white interior didn’t help with the reflectiveness, but we estimated a total of almost 5kW of lighting in the counter area. That’s almost 4.5 W/sf(compared to typical office of 1.0 W/sf). Still, they have a huge menu and miraculously, nutritional information on they website. I settled on a half of a low fat vanilla shake and made it out alive with only 300 cal and 2g of fat, but still maxed out in deliciousness. Highly recommended for people who aren’t counting fat or calories.
