We came to freedom Square diner because we had these little secret envelopes they gave us before Christmas when we ate here designed to draw us back. We were to not open them and they would open it upon on our return visit. We ended up getting one $ 5 gift certificate and one BOGO entrée, which was cool. Since everything here is overpriced for a «diner»,($ 9 omelettes, $ 12 salads, $ 10 burgers,) I got a salad, Romano crusted chicken salad with peppercorn Parmesan dressing. My boo got a buff chick sandwhich. I wish I would’ve taken a photo of the salad– I was astonished they even had the nerve to bring it to my table. A piece of chicken on top of flat sad mixed greens with a hard boiled egg in the corner– and they gave me the wrong dressing. My boos sandwhich looked good at first glance, but the bun was literally drenched in hot sauce. The guy is 300 lbs and even he refused to eat it. He was dripping sweat and waited about 15 mins for a drink refill(we were seated almost IN the kitchen also). Bad service(it was busy but cmon) mediocre overpriced food. We didn’t complain but I thought I’d write his review to make me feel better. Still have that $ 5 gift certificate if anyone wants it because we will certainly not be back! Side note: the waitress was a doll but our half hearted complaint at the end did not motivate her to take any action

Tried it 3 times but it fell short each time. It was busy and the staff is real nice. But the food was so so. Not much flavor and Everything comes out slightly undercooked. Toast not toasted, home fries not brown at all, eggs runny. Maybe that’s how they do it. Not for me tho.

Pretty good breakfast/lunch spot. Just wish they were open for dinner. Seems to do a pretty good business. Food was good, service friendly and quick.

A bad experience there this morning has changed my review of this place. A group of 4 of us went for breakfast and a hair was found in my girlfriends food. We mentioned it to the waitress who apologized and took the food away. The female owner came to our table and spoke with us and was very pleasant. I thought that she would take one of the breakfast charges off of the bill but we were surprised to find the charge still on the receipt! What in the world? I try to support local«mom and pop» places like these over the traditional chain places but they have lost my future business.

This is definitely going to be my new favorite place! I had the South of the Border(?) burger with jack cheese, jalapeños, and chipotle mayo(the mayo is to die for!) with fries, and hubby had the Reuben burger with homemade chips. We thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to come check out the huge selection of breakfast items soon!

Great find not too far from our new home town with nice diner food. Our server Nicki(I hope that right) was very good and super sweet. Everyone was very pleasant. My buffalo chicken salad was HUGE and delicious. The kids loved their chicken tenders and corn dog lunches served in a cute car shaped box. Perfect after a morning of running errands and something to keep us going for the rest of them. Breakfast is our next try here, they’re menu looks to die for with Nutella stuffed French toast and seasonal pumpkin items. Yum!

What a good place to grab a bite for breakfast or a feast for lunch! I dropped in with all intentions of scooping up a delicious omelette, but when I saw a jalapeño burger on the menu, I could not say no. The joint was busy, but the service was fast and friendly. The facility was clean and well decorated, and I often found myself singing along with the upbeat music adding to the fun/friendly ambiance. The price was right, the parking was good and the location was easy to get to. Unfortunately, the flavor fell short on my beloved jalapeño burger, but I would gladly return again, because of the great service, to give their breakfast selections a try!

The location in Monaca just opened its doors not too long ago and this place has become a hot spot for breakfast and lunch. It was a very busy Sunday morning when we ventured into this place and surprisingly enough, we were to get seated and waited on very quickly. Our server was very nice and kept my coffee cup filled. I love that. :-) The menu features a wide variety of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. You can order breakfast at any point during the day. They offer the option to build your own breakfast burrito, skillet, or sandwich. I ordered a breakfast burrito with eggs, sausage, bacon, onions, peppers, and cheddar cheese. It was very delicious and fresh and it came with home fries. I loved the ambiance of this place! The diner was clean, bright, and lively! Its a great place to start the morning.
