Mickeys Barber Shop

I have one problem with this barbershop — The older man who works there.
This man is arrogant and rude. His attitude is awful. The very first time I came here for a cut I asked him for a military style cut, a high and tight. He spoke to me like I was a child, asking me several times if I was sure that that was what I wanted. Eventually I caved to his pressure and ended up leaving with a different cut, disappointed.
I didn’t go back to Mickeys for about a year, but lack of better options in the area led me to give them a second chance. I got another guy my second time and left with a great haircut. Not counting that first cut, I’ve never left their shop disappointed. They know what they’re doing!
Just avoid the cranky old man.

The barbers here are the most rude and arrogant I have ever known. They actually badger and insult their customers if you ask them for the haircut that you want and deserve. God forbid you ever try and tell them what you want. Telling them how much you want off the top means they have to take time out of their busy schedule to clip on a different size guard or… even worse… clean one!
Watch in amazement as they roll their eyes and smirk at one another while you and other customers try to give them your business!
First…you have to wait 10 – 15 minutes just to get a chair. regardless of whether they are busy or not! The barbers will just watch you walk in while they sit in their chairs, reading books, playing on their cell phones, or simply twiddling their thumbs around… oh and sleeping is a usual affair there as well.
Oh…They make no conversation with you while you’re in their chairs… once you finally make it in their chairs.
I actually brought much of this to the barbers’ attentions and they proceeded to badger and insult me further by saying that they didn’t need my business and it was «tough» that I felt like I wasn’t being treated as a customer should… despite my 10 year long patronage to their «fine establishment»
I’ll never go again and I recommend that you don’t either!
