Made reservations a week ago for party of 12. We get there and they don’t have it! WHAT! Are you kidding me!!! I know it is New Years Eve, but c’mon. The staff did not care two shits! Not apologetic or anything. Customer service there sucks!!! Do NOT recommend, AT ALL!!!

We had a party of 7 and sat at the Teppan (hibachi) table. My husband ordered a sushi roll and pad Thai and thought both were delicious. The rest of us had the combo dinners. My steak was perfectly prepared, although those who had salmon thought it was a little overdone. Excellent performance by the chef, who had us laughing the whole time. And if you like hot sake, this is the place to get it.

We went to shogun yesterday for our girls Christmas party for work and it was an awesome time! The chefs were very entertaining and the food was delicious with huge portions! We had a large group, about 25 of us, and they made sure we were all taken care of quickly and were able to help us all find something that we enjoyed. Trust me there were some picky eaters in the group so this wasn’t an easy task. All in all it was a really good time and I definitely plan on going back.

Took the daughter on a lunch shopping trip and visited Shogun for the first time since it opened. The place was spotless and so well appointed. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and the daughter had the Tempura Chicken Bento Box. It was a first for both of us and they were delicious. The staff was friendly and caring. You’re going to love it for lunch. We’re planning a dinner stop there soon.

Sushi was very fresh, food was delicious, great service, and the hibachi chef was very entertaining. The only downside is that with your hibachi meal you get rice or noodles, not both!

Very nice time. Aubrey was our waitress and she was very attentive and nice. Harry was our chef and he was amazing. He was very engaging and kept the crowd laughing. Our table had four children, including my own and he was awesome with all of them! I’ll go back here over Robinson any day.

Very nice décor, pleasant attentive staff, music not obtrusive as can be in some restaurants with tiled walls. May be loud at dinner service; we had lunch. Good value for the price, 3 rolls, soup and salad, 12 bucks. All fresh and pretty, well plated. Standard rolls, and creativity is this establishment’s weak point. Best I can say is «uninspired.» (Sorry Unilocaler Susan S.) Not a spicy bite in spicy whitefish or spicy tuna roll. Good for average Joe. Yama in downtown Beaver, 3 miles away, has nothing to fear. Shogun is great place for group that has some who are afraid of sushi, many cooked options. Families, groups, come here. Foodies, go to Yama.

Go across the river to Yama, real sushi, real service.
Save your $, I have had sushi in 29 states and this shogun in beaver, PA is the worst.
If you want good sushi/​hibachi go the extra 3 miles to Yama.
Note to shogun. Get a manager that knows Japanese food, dry rice, sodium soaked sushi, come on.
We left after the apps, main course hardly touched by all people in the group and ordered pizza. Susan. S u must work there or never had sushi!

Shogun Hibachi has only been open for a few weeks and we’ve already been there twice! So far we’ve had the spicy sushi rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken teriyaki, steak Pad Thai, and shrimp Pad Thai.
Everything has been great, but that Pad Thai was awesome! I can’t wait to return for more.
