This café, located in small town Missouri is a very cute and cozy atmosphere. They have lots of varieties of coffee drinks– warm and cold– to fit every tastebud. The food is scrumptious and has lots of choices for even the most picky eater! The staff is always friendly and will bend over backwards to help you have an enjoyable time. When I travel to Monett, I always make sure to stop by Mocha Jo’s to have a hot cup of coffee and a cup of their delicious potato soup! This is a must stop if you are ever in the area! You won’t be disappointed!

Stopped on way through. We had sandwiches, slaw & potato soup. Sandwiches were good. Thought the soup was some of the best ever. Would definitely stop again. The café was decorated well. Really cute, good atmosphere.

Excellent coffee, good food options, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Everything you need for a good coffee shop! If I came through Monett more often I would definitely frequent the place. It was almost empty both times I have visited so I am not sure if the good people of Monett know what a gem of a coffee shop they have!

Love the atmosphere!!! The employees were very nice and helpful. Greeted everyone with a smile and said«have a good day!» When I left. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!

I’m pretty confident in saying that this is the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Seriously. Worse than random gas station coffee. I ordered a latte and my dude ordered an americano. First of all, they put whipped cream on lattes. What? If you’re getting dessert disguised as coffee, I understand topping it with whipped cream, however, all I ordered was espresso and milk, so why the whipped cream? Gross. I asked the barista to scoop it off, which she did with no complaints, but still, weird. I wish the whipped cream issue had been the end of it, but both our drinks were terrible. These were by far the worst extracted shots of espresso ever pulled. Super weak, watery tasting drinks with no discernible coffee flavors. The only thing I can think to explain this is some awful trifecta of cheap, shitty coffee to start, made using the worst ever equipment by completely unskilled staff. It’s too bad really because I really wanted to like the place. It’s cute(super cute for the area) and the workers were plenty friendly. If you are looking for coffee, I’d say go somewhere else.

I really enjoyed my visit to this comfortable little coffee shop in downtown Monett. It was pleasantly quirky and kitschy, with friendly service and good coffee. There was a young man furiously pounding away at the piano at the front of the shop, but it added to the authentic feeling. Their regular brewed coffee is strong and good and their pumpkin latte was fabulous. I rarely have a reason to visit Monett but I’d definitely recommend Mocha Jo’s.
