About a year ago, while visiting my niece at the University of South Carolina, we decided to go for a drive in the countryside. We came across the quaint Peaches N’ Such farm store and decided to stop for a while. Let me say that I like peaches, but they aren’t something that I typically buy for myself. When we walked in, we were offered samples of Peaches N’ Such’s fresh peach ice cream. I am not exaggerating when I say that the peach ice cream I had that day was the greatest scoop of ice cream I have had in my life. Coming from someone with a lifelong love affair with chocolate and mint chip ice cream, that is saying something! My family and I visited my niece this past weekend, and, by popular demand, we decided to try to find«that amazing peach place» again. We were about to give up and head back to campus when we spotted the store. Naturally, we all had the ice cream, and it was as good as we remembered it. We also stocked up on some other stuff, including the peach cider(great!), peach salsa(amazing balance of heat and sweet — spectacular!), strawberry salsa(haven’t tried it yet), and a few other items. This time, we made note of Peaches N’ Such’s address and saved it as a favorite on our GPS. It’s about an hour away from the USC Columbia campus, and we’re sure that we’ll be visiting again. Best. Ice Cream. Ever.
