Stumbled upon these guys at the fallsway Sunday Market. Thoroughly enjoy the bison burgers. Decided to make the trip up to Monkton. So happy we made the trip. Perfect time of the year for chili and adding my ground bison to the mix

Each summer my husband and I along with our neighbors hop on our motorcycles and take a spin up to Gunpowder Bison Trading Co. It’s a beautiful ride in the country and it’s a fun stop to pull up and watch the bison. We used to take home bison burger and steaks for grilling, but these days the cost is too high. We still come and purchase the sweet and spicy bison sticks, a bone for our dog and enjoy a cold root beer looking out over the rolling hills before we head back to the city. Although we can’t afford to buy the meats anymore, they are great quality and everyone who works in the store is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
